Sorry to take so long to log this review...I had the greatest experience with My Guys! My move was a little different...instead of loading or unloading a truck or container, My Guys helped me move from one condo to another across a parking lot. No problem for this crew! Rashad, Howard and Walter showed up on time and ready to rock at the designated time. They were fast moving pros that worked well together. All of my furniture and belongings made the move without damage or loss. They were very respectful toward me and my son. I was amazed at how quickly everything got done! Everything was finished in just a couple hours. After they left my son and I flopped down on the couch and started to laugh because we we sitting in the same way just 2 hours before, as Rashad and Howard and Walter rode off into the sunset (or probably the next job!) Great job, guys! Highly recommended!

Guys were great. Asked them to show up an hour early and they did. When they showed up they worked efficiently and strategically. Best money I've spent all year. They made the move and my life that much easier. Great workers!!!

We hired this group after our original moving plans changed and the full-service mover we were going to use couldn't accommodate the change. They were scheduled to arrive at 9am and did, but asked if they could come back at 11:15 as they had another small job to complete. We were fine with that because the owner said "we'll have this whole job done by 4pm" (we were shocked but happy). The job didn't get done until almost 7pm, though (and even then we had to do a lot of moving ourselves with boxes) - they had four guys and realized there was not enough room in the truck until late in the day (we'd asked first thing if they thought it would fit because if it wouldn't, we were going to go and get another truck right away). So we had to make one trip across the state, unload and return to load the truck again and make another trip. In an effort to speed things along (because they moved a little slow), we told them to put most of the boxes in our family room (thinking we'd move them ourselves - not in the plan but we wanted to keep things moving so we weren't still dealing with everything at 10pm). Everything did get moved and they were nice but some observations...
1) They seemed disorganized. The owner was good and was trying to direct the other three but it seemed like they didn't have a lot of experience. One would hand off a box to another who would look confused. They also had trouble figuring out how to get furniture through doorways - in many cases we had to do it ourselves because they couldn't understand how to turn something to get it through the door.
2) I felt terrible for them because it was cold and they weren't really dressed appropriately - I know they were cold!
3) Most of our wood furniture got scratched, gouged or in some cases, broken. We provided furniture pads but they were used haphazardly (I would have thought they would have wrapped our expensive Ethan Allen furniture with the pads and the cling wrap we provided but they didn't - the cling wrap was never even opened).
4) They put gouges in the hardwood floors in the house we were moving out of (on the stairs).
I know we are particular about our furniture and I also know we have to expect SOME damage during a move, but the stuff that got damaged could have been avoided with more careful packing/handling. I will say they've been very responsive about trying to correct the situation and Hire a Helper has been GREAT about getting us reimbursed for the damages. So I would say based on other reviews, our experience must have been an anomaly and I would recommend them very carefully for someone who needs help with a smaller sized move - just be sure you wrap your own furniture beforehand to avoid any issues!

My Guys Moving Service was absolutely wonderful! They were so respectful and courteous and really made sure that our personal belongings were placed in the moving pod with so much care. I would recommend them to anyone. Looking forward to using them again when we need them in April when we unload our moving pod to move into our new home!

They were 3 1/2 hours late. Rashad wanted me to help them move my things! If I wanted to move my things, I would not have hired them! I don't think that I will use their service again.

This moving service was great. Howard and his som were phenomenal! They move very fast and completed a very complicated move in the time allocated. They told me to sit down and relax because moving is their job not mine which was awesome bc we all know how stressful moving can be. The pricing was amazing. I paid for 5 hours of moving for less than $400. Definitely money well spent and customer service was great. They showed up on time and ready to work. Recommend this moving service to all and will aqcuire their services when I move into my next home!
