We were very pleased with the crew sent from My Guys Moving Service. The team did an excellent job and worked carefully, but quickly. The job was completed in less that my anticipated time frame. Super service.

They worked quickly and efficiently. They made good use of the two hours. Only thing is my dresser, which was wrapped, got deep scrapes on one of the drawers and the middle leg broke off. Because it wad such an expensive dresser I was disheartened, but as they say you can't win them all and everything else was in awesome condition at the end of a long trip from CT to NJ. Would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

If I could give 3.5 stars for this rating I would. They get a star deducted for being 45 minutes late. We requested the movers for an 8-9 AM arrival time (hoping for closer to 8) and they didn't show up until 9:45. We called at 9:15 to see what was going on and were told that they had a flat tire and were on their way. We reserved 2 movers but 3 showed up (no additional fee) to help stay on schedule. The third mover was clearly new and didn't really know what to do. Once the movers arrived they were very pleasant and efficient. Another half star is deducted because they weren't very gentle with our furniture. We could hear a lot of banging in the staircase (granted, it is tough to move large pieces of furniture) and they cracked a piece of one of our dressers (granted, it is IKEA). One great thing is that when we encountered issues getting the furniture through the door of our new place, they were more than willing and able to hoist/pull things through the second floor balcony door. They also packed the truck efficiently and folded our moving mats for us. We have never hired professional movers before so we don't have anyone else to compare these guys to. I would probably use them again.

The three gentleman who helped us move into our new home were incredible! They were energetic, friendly and extremely efficient. They called to let us know they would arrive within 40 minutes, and were right on time. They were able to unload a Pod and move countless boxes from our garage throughout the house in under two hours (our estimated time frame). They joked with my husband and me, and were in an overall good mood. There was no complaining even when moving heavy items like our treadmill, and they were consistently on the go. They were careful with our items and I have not noticed any damage to our property.
I would highly recommend my guys moving service and would use them again. The only thing I would change, I would have stocked up on more bottles of water because it was hot and they were getting in a good workout.

I had indicated that the job was unloading a POD and that some of the items that needed moving were heavy appliances. Because I didn't say in the job explanation that there was a washer in the basement that needed to come up, Rashad at first refused flat out to move it saying that he only signed on to unload a POD. My thought when I hired help was that I was paying people to do the somewhat unsavory parts of moving that I wasn't able to do myself, and if I had thought for a second that they were going to be so inflexible I would have put a more specific description, but I had told them heavy appliances so I had figured that would be enough. Eventually after the POD was emptied and there was still 45 minutes on the clock they rolled the washer to the bottom of the door to the basement hatch but claimed it wouldn't fit through. They just didn't try though, the washer went in that way, so I know it fits through the door. I am really disappointed because the appliances were 75% of why I hired people to move things in the first place, but it seems that if something looks like it is going to be tricky they just bail on you. Now I am going to have to pay someone else to move the appliances. They did ok on the other parts of the move, but how can I recommend them when I got serious attitude and pushback and laziness for the hard part of the move?

Scheduled help in the morning and was told they would arrive around 10 AM. They didn't come until 12:30. They had no equipment- it was lucky we had bought a hand cart. They dropped one dresser, which scratched it badly. Also have several scratches on the wood floor in our new home, as well as scratches on the wall in rental, and other scratches on furniture.

I hired two movers for two hours to unload two relocubes for a third floor walk-up; three men arrived, and all of them worked ridiculously hard and without complaint for the duration of the job. They were careful with my things, polite, and professional. Would happily recommend.

The MyGuys team was great. They arrived on time. The three of them completed the loading in 1 hour and unloading in 30 minutes. They were very attentive and took great care with all items, especially furniture. I will ask for them again for our next move in a month.
