I do NOT recommend this company and in fact would highly advise anyone to keep far away from them.
Hired and prepaid for four movers, six hours.
Pack and load a 3 br, 1 ba, one level home with one resident.
I’ve moved for work 12 times the last 10 years. My household content is roughly the same every move and including a lunch break to feed the workers, it has never taken the full six hours that I always plan for.
8am two workers showed up and the clock started for four.
8:30am third worker showed up.
9am fourth worker arrived.
At 11:08 am and after multiple requests for the workers to quit standing around chatting and to get off there phones so they could get the job done, I finally sent the owner a picture of two guys, one on his phone and the other standing there watching him and told him to have them leave or get to work.
They finally picked up the pace but after about three hours they were back to a slow pace. I brought in lunch at 2pm for them and they stopped working for the day and we had to finish ourselves.
The owner then began a borage of calling and texting to get me to pay an additional $165 for additional time. This went on for several days until Porch contacted me.
Even after giving all this information to Porch, they still insisted.
Terrible experience.

Mover's response:
A fully furnished 3 bedroom home, garage and shed packed in boxes and loaded in about 6 hours is actually on the lower side of estimated time required to complete a job of this magnitude.

I was informed as soon as my crew arrived that the entire home was unpacked and there was a lot of stuff that needed to be packed. Two movers arrived at 8am, the third at 8:30am and compete 4 at 9am. Arrival window was between 8am-9am and your time for the 4 movers did not start until 9am.
From 9am to about 3pm they worked is the 6hrs. The additional time requested was a pro- rated amount for the 2 movers who had worked for an hour. The price was also not $165. I really don’t understand the inclination to lie and give a false review simply because we wanted the 2 movers compensated for the additional hour they worked. When a move or any appointment gives a window of 8am-9am it means that the crew has within that time frame to arrive. They are only late when the time hits 9:01am not before.

All our crews are very highly experienced, through and take pride in their work. “Standing around or not moving as fast as you had liked” was when they were packing your wives China and other, glass, fragile and very delicate items. They had to be extremely careful to make sure they were properly wrapped and protected for the trip.

This is a case where either way he was going to find fault simply because of that 1hr the 2 movers worked instead of just standing around waiting for their others to arrive which they did within the scheduled arrival window.

If they had just thrown your items into the box without care of damage. You will also complain that the guys were moving carelessly and not taking adequate care or protection of your items.

Again 3 bedroom home ( 3 fully furnished bedrooms, kitchens, living area, dining area, laundry room, attic storage, garage, shed out back). Packed up from scratch and loaded into a 26ft truck within 6hrs with 4 movers and only one additional hour with 2 movers was great timing to anyone being fair and actually moved a lot of times.

Andre and Romelo (not sure if I am spelling his name correctly) were great. They arrived on time . Then they took the time to see what needed to be moved, and viewed the space where my furniture needed to be temporarily stored. They proceeded to get everything in the space with room to spare, I was amazed at how efficient they were. Both are extremely hard working, polite and respectful of my furniture. I would use this team again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

Customers booking with Fuse Movers and Relocations can expect a professional, detailed, proactive, experienced and customer service oriented moving experience. We strive to take the hassle out of moving day and make it much more efficient.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

An efficient, friendly and highly professional moving experience

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

It helps to be properly packed up. Boxes taped up and loose items boxed or bagged ready to go. Also blankets for wrapping wood and other delicate items should be made available. Pathway from the home, through the door way to the truck should be kept clear as possible so as not to interfere with the smooth, efficient and safe movement of items from the home to the truck or container

What types of moves have you handled?

We have handled every type of move. Local, long distance, office, warehouse, pods, trucks, containers, home rearranging, tractor trailers as well

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

We love making customers happy and getting very positive feedback. One of my favorite parts is when a customer seems so worried about how they will get it all done but are all smiles and exuberant when we start clearing out things quickly and efficiently. The change from worried to pure joy and happiness can be quite fulfilling.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We make sure all our movers are able to properly lift all items safely. New crew members are made to shadow our tenured & highly experienced movers to show them how we get our moves done. This also includes paying attention to details as well as courteous customer interactions. We start them with simple, quick moves and gradually scale them up to more intricate, bigger moves as they show proficiency and ability to grasp the essentials. Our movers are very highly experienced & have been proven in the field
