The movers who were sent were an hour later than our scheduled time and were not the original movers who were behind due to their car breaking down en route to our home. Since we had some heavy items to move, we had requested a dolly online, again in-person to the representative with Hire a Helper, and on the day of the service to the service provider dispatcher. The movers showed up with no dolly, so we had to scurry to find one from a neighbor. This is not acceptable when you are paying $300 for two people to help you move a few pieces of furniture that took less than two hours. The actual movers were very nice and respectful and got the job done.

Mover's response:
This was a last minute/same day order. When we got the call to fill in for her originally scheduled movers I gave her a call to get specifics of what she needed help with. Because they were already behind schedule (due to no fault of ours as we were the replacement company/crew). We dispatched a crew that were a bit closer to her location. When I spoke to her I knew based on what was listed the crew being sent could get it done in the allotted time with or without a dolly hence we made the decision that they did not have to come in to pick one up to get to the job site quicker. They arrived and the job was done in an hour very efficiently with no damages or issues so I’m not sure the reason behind this bad review. We came in to help your day when your plans fell through got the job done in half the time (1hr) and yet your still not satisfied?? This is absurd. We wish you the best. Cheers

I thoroughly enjoyed their service. Before their arrival I was a little concerned about having movers in my home without my husband being present. That concern was quickly resolved. They were professional, respectful and friendly! I would definitely recommend them and use them for any future moves. My only regret was that they are only movers. I would have hired them on the spot for other household projects!

The movers did a terrible job. My friend was at my house while I took care of my toddler and she ended up moving furniture herself it was so bad. An older man and a teenager were the crew sent, no materials and no clue how to load furniture, took two empty trips to look at the pod and I had to tell them to start with the washer and dryer. The older man sat while berating the young guy doing all the work. I could have done a better job myself. Ok so a bad experience, it gets worse. When I tried to explain my issues with the service, the owner kept asking me to explain what I meant over and over, to the point of playing aloof. My friend talked to him as well and it was the same. He asked me what I needed from him and I explained I had lots of stuff left over that could have been loaded/was on a time crunch/ partner was out of town/ had to take care of my kid before I could discuss what I needed. He then called me 8 TIMES LEAVING NO MESSAGE and then started texting me telling me how this was my fault for not expressing concern in the beginning? It’s not a steak at a restaurant, I booked in advance, explaining exactly what I would need. If this is what was sent why would I call mid job and expect something better? THEN he accused me of withholding payment-I prepaid for the service-and threatened me with legal action?! And I still have crap that needed moved, and was grossly over billed for their time. I called hire a helper and explained not only did this company do a bad job both in craft and customer service, I felt icky, threatened, and like the owner was unnecessarily aggressive. Literally calling me that many times, I have text messages asking him to stop and that I was uncomfortable and that is when he accused me of withholding payment. Didn’t feel good or safe. Hire a helper said they could only discount an hour unless I opened a claim, I have a bunch to do and I would rather be fine with it, a claim is an added step I don’t need. Hire a helper won’t be a service I use in the future. Be cautious and do not work with fuse movers.

Mover's response:
This is grossly inaccurate. I never got a call, text, complaint or any indication you were not satisfied with the move until the very end when the guys let me know they were done. I reached out to you when the move was booked as well as a day before so you had my direct line to reach me if for any reason you had any issues. First when guys arrive it was 2 pods not one like you indicated on the order but never cared to mention when I spoke to you on the phone. My guys arrive and did not complain but got to work. Only things was a big dining table that someone helped angle out the door and was mostly to prevent scratches and not a weight issue. everything else they got themselves. When the guys tell me they are finished and I call you to close out that’s when you tell me you are busy at the moment and pass the phone to your friend who tells me you guys had to help but when I talk to my guys they tell me it was just the one table that only thing your friend “helped” with was to help pivot it out the door. Because I’m getting conflicting messages I’m trying to find out what’s going on but you seemed to be too busy to even explain like we all don’t have things going on as well. I give it a couple hours over 5hrs and still no call back. I’ve been in business for over 15years and I am the first one to get a call if a move is not going according to the customers desires. Although this happens rarely I still open that line of communication with all our clients because I personally supervise all the moves and also stress the importance of letting us know of any problems/issues in real time and at least give us the chance to remedy the situation. A simple call or text and I would have called my guys during the move and if one more guy was needed we would have sent an additional crew member to help. If it is the very rare instance of customer just not in sync with the crew sent we can switch them out and send a different crew. There are options but when you wait until the end to raise issues first it gives us no room to make adjustments and also comes off as insincere. I believe when you are paying money for a service and if for any reason it is not going according to your expectations you raise concerns in real time that is all I was advising you through the texts but here you are insinuating that I was threatening you. There are protocols in place to protect both customers and moving service providers on Hireahelper. When we complete jobs pay is guaranteed just as you will never be billed for a service not rendered so makes no sense for me to be so called be aggressive towards you. I take every customer complaint very seriously and try to remedy as quickly as possible. Simple things sometimes make huge difference and I understand you are not in the industry but I was just letting you know of the options you have. The two men who helped me were very organized, and they had the moving truck loaded in a precise manner. They arrived earlier than I expected, and didn't waste time getting the truck loaded. They did treat my property with respect. I would definitely use Fuze Movers and Relocations again if I needed help in the future.
