The two gentlemen that came to help unload the PODS were very helpful. They were trying to get finished to head home to local football game and when they realized they would not be done in time, they said we will stay and finish the job, we need the work. It was a refreshing comment and represents there work ethic.

These guys were not on time. They turned a two hour job into almost a four hour job. They only had to unload a one bedroom apartment with two couches, one arm chair, queen-size bed and a TV console and about 30 small boxes and 10 medium boxes. They were so slow they made me late for an appointment that I had to reschedule twice. The move out of my apartment with Best movers from Fort Lauderdale took an hour and a half and they moved out my apartment down 20 floors, disassembled and wrapped my furniture... I paid them for two hours totaling $249.00, these two guys from Elite did not do an appropriate job and are trying to charge me $444.00. They were polite, but unprofessional and seemed to be slow just to bill more hours. They only brought one dolly then had the nerve to ask to use my personal dolly. I let them use it and then when I went downstairs to address some broken furniture they brought to my attention, I found a necessary piece of the dolly just laying in the sidewalk (dolly no where in sight). They did not treat my property with respect. They ruined one of my blankets because we had it as a cover over some of my property in the back of the truck. One of the guys allowed it to roll under the wheels of the dolly and he would just drag it around (it was not expensive but I bought it in England when I was in college and it's a keepsake that I treasure) It is now ripped to shreds and the feet on my two couches are damaged. I watched their progress at one point by looking out my window and saw them drop my grey couch on one of the four feet, they then sat on the back of the truck for about 5 minutes while one of them read his texts. They then called me a few minutes later to tell me that a piece of furniture inside the truck was broken. When they started working one of them felt it was appropriate to tell me that the most important part of the contract is the part that says "tips are not required but are appreciated" which I thought was completely inappropriate and now I would really like my tip back considering they appear to be intentionally charging me more and went as slow as they possibly could. I was also upset because they thought it was appropriate to tell me that at least no one will rob me because I live in a nice, safe place. Who would say something like that? I will refuse the charge if I am charged for four hours. These movers are to be avoided at all costs if you care about your personal property and not being over-charged for sub-par work.
