I had two helpful gentlemen assist me with moving two rooms’ worth of belongings into my new apartment. While they were courteous and did help throughout the move, I did experience a few issues, including damage to my previous apartment as well as a broken personal item.
I also noticed that the movers were on their phones at times and seemed distracted during portions of the move. Because of this, I found myself stepping in and assisting much more than I had anticipated, frequently offering help and asking if they needed support with carrying or organizing items. Unfortunately, these delays resulted in the move taking longer than expected, and I ended up paying for a couple of additional hours.
