Our movers (Dan & Therman) were not only on time they were early, which was nice to get a good start on the day. They were certainly prepared for the job, and provided plenty of advice on the best way to move. I have never seen a trucked packed so efficiently. They had an entire household all inside a 24 foot truck, minus a few things that are easier just to take by car. I've used Five Star Moving before, and would certainly use them in the future.

My two movers came about 2 hours late but they called and let me know where they were and gave me a new anticipated time of arrival. This was completely fine with me and does not impact their overall rating. They came, quickly assessed the work to be done, explained their polices/procedures and got to work. They were very knowledgeable, very prepared, and made it seem like a breeze. At no point did I feel they were "slacking" or taking it easy. All of my items seemed to be handled with care and when I saw the finished product (everything loaded into the Packrat container) it almost looked like magic. Everything was arranged beautifully with even a little room left over for me to add the little items I was still working on and packing. Also, I am female and did the move alone; the two movers that helped me (Dan and Thermon) were so friendly and engaging that I didn't feel uncomfortable even for a second. Overall, they were great and I'd recommend them to anyone! If you are worried about time, I would book them for their first appointment in the morning.

The movers came on time even though a winterstorm struck the night before. We ended up only having a few peices of furniture to move, so they finished well under the 2 hour minimum. They could not fit the sectional down the stairs to get it to the basement, but it was not their fault. Overall. I would recommend them. and hire them again.
