Used them twice in the past and they were good. This time, not so much. I booked them for "between 10am and 11am" and the two guys showed up at 11:15am. Never gave a reason. There's a reason booked them for this time.
Long story short, was late picking up my son from his first day of pre-k and late getting back to a meeting at work because hey showed up late and never. Gave. A. Reason.
I know and understand the importance of planning ahead and timeliness, which is why I booked them at the designated time. Thanks to them showing up an hour late it threw the whole day off. Between the two destinations between which the furniture was being transported they disappeared for a good 20 minutes and called and said they were "getting gas." Sat at the storage unit waiting on them.
Had to leave them at the storage unit alone to unload our things while we ran to try to pick up my son on time and get back to work to a meeting. Who really wants to leave other people they don't know alone with their belongings? In the past they took two and three hours to load and unload this same load of furniture.
This time they took and charged me for four hours. These two guys were slow as molasses. I'll be moving my things again in a few months to move into our house and not so sure I'll use them again. Disappointing is an understatement.

There was a little confusion on the start time.i originally asked for 10- to 11 am. three weeks before the unpacking i received a call from cape fear asking if i was locked into that time frame.i told him i was flexible .he asked about an earlier start time 8- 9 am ,i said yes that worked for me. The day before the move i received a text and voice mail asking which time was correct. i replied with a voice and text message and told them the earlier move time was asked for by them and i oked it. They showed up at 10 am anyway and apologized for the confusion and brought an extra helper at no charge..everything went fine and the crew chief Rob and his crew were very polite and did an excellent job.i will use them again and recommend them also.

After getting off to a bad foot with management and finally got on the we same page the service was great. Rob and his partner were prompt courteous and most of all they knew what the hell they were doing. I would most certainly use and recommend Cape Fear provisioners of NC
