We had two movers for 4 hours. We moved out of one of the bedrooms of a 2 bedroom apartment and had some items we moved from storage waiting in the truck. They arrived early and were ready to go. John was amazing. He was moving quickly and directing his partner to be efficient. He was also kind enough to stay a couple extra minutes without charging us to ensure that a large filing cabinet could be moved. However, Brian smelled strongly of alcohol and didn't seem nearly as efficient. He seemed confused and disoriented and required repeated instructions. We ended up having to unload the final boxes ourselves. I don't know if Brian had been sober whether we would have made more progress before the time was up. It was extremely unprofessional of him to be drunk on the job.

Making sure all items that can be packed is safely secured. Remove any small items that will be in the movers walk way.
What types of moves have you handled?
We handled all types of moves from rearranging furniture in a house doctors office, spas, we do state to state lots of work is local for the average joe/Jane from one location to the other.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Traveling is the best part of the move seeing different areas and meeting people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Communication skills as this is just as important as any labor skills. We teach them to stack boxes properly, use moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, rope etc
