I hired these movers through Moving Staffers Marketplace for what should have been a straightforward job. 7 items, load and unload, with bed takedown and reassembly included. The booking was set for 2 hours.
The movers spent close to an entire hour disassembling the beds in a way that felt excessive and inefficient. Before we even pulled away from the first location, they called Moving Staffers to say they could stay until 2pm, an extra 90 minutes, because they had another job to do. I agreed with a request that they were sure to put the beds back together.
Then, mid-drive to the new place, came another call. They couldn't do the unload at all.
That left me and my kids, ages 10 and 16, to unload the truck ourselves. My 10-year-old son couldn't do much, and the whole situation brought my teenage daughter to tears. I ended up paying a stranger $100 to help move the last two dressers from the truck, and had to book someone on TaskRabbit to reassemble the beds the movers had taken apart.
Moving Staffers Marketplace refunded me $50. That doesn't come close to covering the extra money I spent, and it certainly doesn't account for the stress and tears my family went through on what was already a hard moving day.
I would not recommend these movers. If something goes wrong, don't expect them to follow through on their word.

The guys came right on time, even though it was adjusted, just a bit, and were ready to do the job. We truly appreciate their help as the packing and stacking of boxes process had already messed up our backs. They hopped right on the task and knew what they were doing, packing our POD with great skill and spacial engineering. They were very respectful and friendly, especially the lead man, who was mentoring a new worker. It was a great experience and we really appreciated their help!

Jon Winston and his brother Antoine did a wonderful job for us. We needed labor only - 2 guys for 2 hours to load our POD. They confirmed in advance, arrived precisely on time, and were done exactly at the 2-hour mark. Jon was very knowledgeable about what we wanted packed, was familiar with the 16' POD and how to pack it tightly so nothing will shift in transport. They even moved a piece of furniture from one part of the house to another, with no complaints. Jon was also extremely patient with coaching and training in his brother - I like to see people helping others learn on the job. If we were not moving to Charlotte, NC I would definitely hire them again.

We handled all types of moves from rearranging furniture in a house doctors office, spas, we do state to state lots of work is local for the average joe/Jane from one location to the other.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Traveling is the best part of the move seeing different areas and meeting people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Communication skills as this is just as important as any labor skills. We teach them to stack boxes properly, use moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, rope etc
