They were on time and prepared. They were respectful of my property. However, they were in a hurry to leave. They left my bed frame and bed propped against the wall, and mirror that was very heavy on the floor.These were not set up. They even left the truck door wide open and I had a heck of a time closing it by myself. There was a blanket of theirs they left behind that I now have to return.

George and Antoine were very professional. I was in need of same day moving service, they were available and called to confirmed the appointment.
They arrived on time, took assessment of the work and immediately begin the load.
The team worked quickly and efficiently, asked questions, and reviewed the loading container with me at several intervals for my approval and to track progress.
The team was careful to pack and load my items with care.

We rehired Lewis Moving (George, Antwoine and Q) to move our furniture out of a driveway POD unit back into our home. Service was excellent once again. Team arrived on time and was very careful to follow our instructions for Move-In. Moved an upright piano with the greatest of care. Great Company!

I have moved 12 times in my life, most of the moves involved professional packing services. Lewis Moving Company is by far the worst company I've ever hired.
I hired a 2 person packing team that was scheduled to begin between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. They called and said they were delayed at a previous job and would be arriving at 1:00 p.m. and would add a 3rd person on the team at no charge to expedite the work.
The 3 person team arrived at 2:45 p.m. The team was poorly trained and had no skills as professional packers. They did not pad the bottoms of boxes with paper, layer contents with paper between items, or organize the contents. It was the slowest and sloppiest job I've ever seen. Many items were simply dumped in boxes with no padding or protection at all - literally. Most of my possessions went into a storage pod as my current move is a temporary situation. I dread what I will likely find when I finally unpack the boxes.
At the 6 hour mark they just left, despite the fact that the job was no where near done. Pictures were still on the walls. Most of the cabinets below the counters in the kitchen (cookware and large items) and half of the contents of the buffet were not packed. Many decorative items were still on shelves. Many boxes were not sealed, just left open, and many boxes were not labelled. I called my daughter to come over to help me and we worked til after 2:00 a.m. to do as much packing as possible.
The next morning I got up at 6:30 a.m. and continued to pack throughout the time the movers arrived and loaded a storage pod and truck. Because I was busy packing, I was unable to supervise the movers as I had originally planned and many mistakes were unintentionally made by them due to lack of supervision.
I have a 922 sq ft 2 BR / 2 BA condo. not a large place. I had a lot more stuff moving in that I have since donated, for lack of storage space. The 2 packers from a different company I had a year ago from when I moved into the place I just left did an excellent job and fully completed the work within the same amount of time that the Lewis Movers folks could not complete with 3 men.
I would never hire Lewis Movers again and will tell all my friends and contacts to avoid Lewis Moving. I have reported my experience to 1 800 Pack-Rat and cautioned them about partnering with HireAHelper going forward as the referral I received was the worst supplier I've ever used. I plan to report my experience on Yelp as well.
