Not only were the movers early, they were pleasant, courteous and went out of their way to be helpful! They were extremely careful with our belongings and went the extra mile at every opportunity! In addition they packed our containers so expertly, without them we wouldn't have gotten half as much in them! I highly recommend A1 Movers and look forward to calling them when it's time to unload my storage containers!!!

We have hired four different moving firms over the past six months (moving in and out of temporary housing). Compared with others, this one had excellent customer service in advance (they confirmed all the details over the phone, asked for an exact arrival time, returned phone calls promptly, etc). The movers themselves were fine, but not as good as others. I was expecting them to bring moving blankets but they didn't. They showed up 50 minutes after we were expecting them, and took several breaks to smoke during the day. They seemed to take an excessively long time packing up the truck, trying to fit as much as possible in the first load, even though we told them we would be making multiple trips. I think that if they hadn't spent so much time on trying to fill every nook and cranny on the truck, we would have finished the job an hour earlier. They banged up some walls on the way in, but our stairs are narrow so that might have been inevitable. On the plus side, they were very careful about wrapping everything up with plastic wrap, and didn't charge for that. They were okay, but I will pick a different firm next time.

Unfortunately when hired helpers work by the hour they don't work nearly as hard. I have had issues with multiple crews that I have hired. They complain about how strenuous the unloading furniture is. They take too many breaks. In most cases, crews do not respect our customer's property or articles of their shipment. It is just difficult. I guess that is what you get when you hire helpers at the last minute.

Neil and Larry were on time and eager to work hard and efficiently despite the humid heat. They moved our furniture with care and respect up four tall flights of stairs without a complaint. In fact, they were incredibly polite throughout the entire move. They are the best movers I can imagine working with!

They were great. Greg organized all aspects of the move as soon as the team arrived. They worked together well and were polite and respectful to our needs and wished. I really couldn't recommend them more highly. They filled our POD like it was a solved rubics cube puzzel. Plan to use them again when we unpack it all!

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
