Curtis the contact person was easy to deal with and very professional in assuring us that they would be there on time and could easily do the job for us. The work team arrived on time and were definitely prepared to do the job. Larry and David, the two delightful fellows who loaded our POD for us, did an outstanding job being very careful with every box and piece of furniture they loaded. The packing was tight and well secured. They worked very hard and were very professional in their dealings with us. I waited until the POD arrived before writing this to make sure things stayed put. They sure did. Not an item had moved from where Larry and David put it. I would definitely recommend them based on our experience.

They were strong and capable and worked hard. They were respectful of my goods and respectful to me. They worked very hard in an older house (1700) with low ceilings, narrow hallways and tight turns. I would use them again but I would make a last check before they left: several items were left stacked next to the front door. They arrived about 10 minutes late.

The movers worked incredibly hard, were extremely careful with my furniture and my walls, brought mats to protect the floors where they first came in, helped with minor furniture assembly, always asked where to put things, and were polite and friendly. They were a bit late, but in my case that was fine because it was raining when they should have arrived. They finished the job in 2-1/2 hours rather than the estimated 4 hours. I would certainly use them again, and passed ther names onto several people working at the home. Only negative is that Hire-a-Helper charged me for 4 hours even though I texted after 2-1/2 hours that the job was completed.

Both movers were extremely courteous and pleasant. This was a traumatic move for me, and they were understanding and kind. They were very careful of my belongings and appreciated the history of some of my older pieces. They were efficient, hard workers and would not take a break even when I suggested that they should. I would highly recommend A-1 to anyone, especially for a long distance move. Can not say enough good things about this outfit.

The guys were great. They were courteous, respectful, conscious of time, and did an excellent job making the best use of the truck rental space. They also helped disassemble some furniture at my new house and were efficient in placing stuff in a crowded location.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
