The movers were on time, that is true. and they were respectful. The U-Haul U-Box that I rented was provided with 24 blankets. One of the A-1 guys said that, if I didn’t use the blankets, U-Haul would refund me. That is totally not true!
The other A-1 guy had never loaded anything before. This guy did most of the packing. I expected experienced employees.
The U-Box is sitting in storage in Providence, Rhode Island. When it will be finally shipped to California, I am going to have to fly out from California again in order to repack it myself, because A-1 did a lousy job. They should have known and used the 24 blankets. They actually asked to use one that I had to wrap a bookcase! The belongings belong to my brother, a disabled American veteran who had stroke. The cost to deal with this is outrageous.

Both gentlemen were very nice. Hard working & took care of what they were handling & we're finished in the alotted time. I would like to use same people for unpacking when it's time thank you very much

Larry and Neil were incredible! They packed my pod like it was a game of Tetris. They wrapped everything and treated everything with care. They were also very polite and courteuos and worked nonstop. I would definitely recommend A-1 movers!

Larry was amazing! He wrapped everything up quickly and was incredibly smart when packing the truck. He was also really nice and helpful- I really think he deserves a raise because he did a phenomenal job!

Although they were late (Vehicle had a flat tire from previous job site), they moved my daughter into her college residence and did a wonderful job. They worked hard, were respectful of property and my daughter felt comfortable with the guys. Would definitely use them again.

Moving is always stressful, i tried to find reliable and affordable help. I was looking online for several company and i choose A-1 because they have good reviews. 4 guys showed up... Larry, Ricky, Gray and Alec. They was very pleasant, friendly but professional, fast, organized..they moved the large furniture with care, they didn't waste time and they definitely help to take the stress out of this part. I feel that 5stars is not enough to say thank you for everything. They deserve 10. I highly recommend them and and A-1.

The movers from A-1 were exceptional. They arrived on time and were very polite and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that the move was as easy as possible for me. They moved quickly and efficiently, and packed the moving truck with care to make sure nothing shifted or broke in transit. They even had various moving materials that I ran out of (moving blankets, shrink wrap, etc). I would absolutely use them again!

we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
