This was a great team. Super nice and very careful with our belongings. They were helpful with ensuring we had everything brought down to the pod. The pod, it wasn’t close to our condo door yet this crew handled it like champs - going down a flight of stairs and across a parking lot; an immense amount of work. They came late. I gave them benefit of the doubt as they were in touch letting me know they would be late.
I had hired 4 people for 3 hours. Only 3 folks showed, and one out of those three was a young child being training.
They blamed me that my items were too heavy even though no item was heavier than 300lbs, and my loaders had no issue loading any of these items.
They damaged my grandmother's dresser taking it upstairs. Then left it in the hallway because they neither had the appropriately trained men, nor the trolley that would assist them in taking it through the tight corner in to the bedroom that it needed to be placed in.
They put boxes and items in the wrong room, despite being told over and over again which room to place them in.
They left in 2.5 hours but charged me for full 3 hours, and had taken a 20 minute break during this time as well.
Do yourself a favor and go with another company! Hireahelper is great but this particular company really sent their worst workers out to me.
