Great crew, showed up ready to work. AB and his crew worked hard and didnt stop the process until the truck was packed. I had doubts that all my furniture would fit into the truck, but they made it work and even unpacked to repack for the perfect fit. Great company, very friendly, and hard workers!

Job, started out being an all day job with hard times established by the other parties delivery team. The enroute, that was change and had to meet in the parking lot of a Food Lion. Helpers arrived just in time to follow me to the site and then follow me to the drop off point. Essentially in the end, the job was reduce to a 2 hour job vice an 8 hour job.
On time - no delayed due to traffic I started leaving for the job when they arrived at the Uhaul meeting place.
Prepared - Yes 2 people ready to work
Work Hard - Yes, it became a short job but they did work fast and hard to move my furniture while I completed the admin.
Respectful - Yes
Using them again - Depends on location and job site.

They did a great job loading and unloading our truck. They spent a lot of time making sure everything fit in the truck, so we would not need to take multiple trips. They also followed directions very well when they unloaded the truck and put everything where we wanted it. They got everything completed in the time we wanted and nothing was damaged.

They worked really hard and moved everything out of our house quickly and carefully. They also packed our truck very neatly and made sure everything fit. The only complaint we had was that they showed up almost 40 mins late, but it was icing, so we were glad they came at all!

This is the first time that we have moved and needed movers to assist us. AB and his team were on time and very professional. It's clear that AB is extremely experienced at packing a truck/POD with precision. For the packing alone they are worth every penny. My only frustration is that I spoke with the company prior to the date and we walked through the house at the start and I pointed out that the kitchen needed to be packed up and this task was forgotten. They said they were ready to close up the POD and I pointed out the kitchen still needed to be done. Whether it was because they were rushing or because this isn't their expertise, the job wasn't quite done to my expectations and I was having to oversee this aspect and/or ask AB to come inside and oversee the packers. Overall, a really great group of guys and I would hire them again.

I highly recommend this company. I've used a number of companies through Hireahelper, and they've all been good, but Duck really stands out. I've used them four times now, and they've always been friendly, respectful, professional, honest, and very hardworking. With other companies I've hired, it's sometimes been obvious that the movers just wanted to do the minimum they had to do to get the job done and were impatient to get out of there. I've never sensed that with the guys from Duck (even when they were moving a lot of very heavy items down a steep, muddy hill to my basement on a cold wet winter day!). It's clear they care about getting the job done well, and they do it cheerfully and respectfully. As I said above, I've now called on them four times for moving labor help, and I would definitely do so again.

First let me say I own a moving company and things happen. The guys were 1 1/2 hours late. They came from Richmond VA to Charlottesville VA. That explains the lateness. The owner did show up and worked. Once the owner and my husband took over no problems.

they were on time and enthusiastic, but there were a lot of marks on the walls and most of the boxes were left in the wrong room upstairs. I should have checked behind them.
