Excellent across the board. Were on time. Were very careful with out items. Did not damage walls of house. Worked very hard. Did not have any trouble w heavier items. Took direction well and were very respectful. Offered excellent suggestions on the loading of truck, and placed items where directed. Strongly recommended.

These two men were very friendly, but they did not respect my property. They completely ignored labeling such as "do not place anything on top of this box" or "this end up". They loaded an expensive piece of furniture with very heavy boxes instead of lighter items which caused serious damage to the piece. They tied off very heavy items with single strands of twine which broke in transit causing load shifting. Stacking very heavy boxes on top crushed heavy duty boxes on the bottom. Not an experience I would recommend to anyone else. They were in too much of a hurry to stop and think about the best way to pack or whether a box was heavy or light.

When you’re 83 and t’s time BOTH to downsize and move to the other part of SC, t’s a daunting task just thinking about how it’s gonna actually be accomplished! A fried suggested I call Hire a Helper because they had done such a great similar job for her earlier in the year. What an easy process! I went in line and filled out a form. Immediately upon sending it, I got a call from them to verify information and get more details. They sent me emails along and along reminding me of job date and asking for any changes in my needs. On moving day, I got a call from the two young men assigned to my job saying they were in the way. For an older woman, reassurance of this kind is both necessary and appreciated. The young men were extremely knowledgeable when it came to packing our rental truck. They were professional, fast but thorough, polite, and careful with our belongings. They covered our furniture with blankets, packed systematically so it would facilitate our unpacking and ashes a huge family portrait to the inside of the truck so it would not move during transport. Even though we had hired them for the minimum 2-hour period, they finished early! We were really prepared to add an hour to our contracted time! We gave them a generous gratuity because we were so grateful that they worked independently from us, requiring no more information than we had given them initially. We recommend this company without reservation! Tell them Barbara sent you!

The guys did a fantastic job..Carried enough furniture for a 2 bedroom apartment up 2 flights of stairs..not a wall dinged or piece or furniture scratched...an amazing job and fast too
