Universal Movers did a very good job unloading the pod and moving everything into my house. I would use them again if needed.
The two of them arrived and were shown where everything would go. They were very polite and told me stories about how they are better now that the one causing problems was gone. I appreciated the honesty but the stories didn't stop which caused me to get a bit nervous. The first piece of furniture, a secretary, actually broke in two as they lifted it and they couldn't be more sorry. Fortunately it only took minor damage and the break was were it was screwed together so the two halves went into the house and after everything else was moved, without issues, they were able to reassemble and put it in its proper place. You wouldn't even know it had happened. It didn't happen due to maliciousness or neglect and they were truly upset and sorry it happened.
Positives:
Called 30 minutes before their scheduled arrival time to let me know they were running late.
Very friendly and courteous .
Worked quickly and efficiently to get everything done within the scheduled time.
Improvement Areas: (minor things)
Never called to confirm the appointment. I had to call them two days before to make sure they were coming.
Didn't have any tools with them so used mine. There wasn't much of a need for tools but part of the sale of the service was they were to bring their own.

Although Helpers were 1 1/2 hours late, they kept in touch to let us know their arrival time. We were not in a big hurry estimating a 6 hour move. We received a 5% discount and a refund for an hour and a half that was not used...very generous!
Once the helpers arrived they worked very hard and were careful not to damage any items, walls or flooring. The helpers were great!

No show!! What careless people... to not answer their phones the day of the move, not call to give an update or anything! People who are responsible for moving your personal items should pay you when they totally mess up something as important as moving your things on your big day! Save yourself the hassle of being disappointed!! Choose another company!!

The team was superb!! Larry surely knows how to pack a POD!! I had ordered 1-16’ and 2-7’ PODs and they fit every thing into one 16 footer!! So awesome!! We were so blessed to have this great team!! Thank you SO much!! We would give them more than a 5 if we could!!

They didn't show the first day. The next day we agreed to show up the next day 09/04/19 at 12:30. The next day they didn't show until 2:30. I told them I definitely needed the cabinets to go and I would take the boxes if they didn't have enough room. The loaded the boxes and left the cabinets. Now I have to get them out of the house before closing on September 6th. They also left a heavy compressor that I said had to get loaded. They were here for only 1 hour and 15 minutes leaving all the heavy stuff..
