Excellent service, arrived on time, did everything I asked them to do, carried heavy boxes down stairs, loaded them on a U-Haul and took them to a storage unit for me. They were very professional, had good personalities and provided excellent service. I would definitely use them again. Great job.

Coming in, I didn't know anything about these guys aside from the reviews here. They were great! Very knowledgable, professional and and hard working. They called ahead to figure out what they needed for the job, and explained clearly how to complete the payment through the hireahelper text system. The move wasn't very far, but they took care with everything, and there was no damage to either apartment or any belongings. Arrived on time. I would definitely use them again or refer to a friend!

This was the worse moving experience of my life. Only one mover showed up, whom was late. At that time is when I was notified the other mover would not be coming. When I contacted Daryl, he ignored my phone call and proceeded to text me. Then he stated to me being upset was not going to fix my situation. I explained to him his lack of professional, communication and concern for his worker was unacceptable. He told me he would find a second guy to come help and never did. It took 8 hours for one man to move all my stuff, which by the end I was helping because I physically emotionally and mentally exhausted from the heat. Daryl never answered any of calls after the initial conversation. HireHelper even attempted to get in touch with him and no response. Please save yourself the hassle and do not book with this company. Due to the chaos I have lost the nuts and bolts to my bed. Maybaum movers owner, Daryl, is the definition of horrible service. I will never use them again. The one mover was very nice and optimistic about the situation. He tried his hardest to move everything by himself. But Daryl was unbothered at the fact his employee was lifting couches and tv stands all by himself. He gave up the second he could to find additional help. Therefore I repeat do not book this mover.

They were 3 hours late to the time they said they would arrive, they did not communicate, the managers blatantly ignored my requests for ETA updates. One of the workers was high and smelled of marijuana. He also brought a backpack that smelled strongly of marijuana into my home. He was late because he didn't have transportation to my house because his license was suspended. All three of the movers were dressed in appropriately with their pants hanging down and their underwear showing. The company sent hoodlums into my home. They even damaged my favorite item (a dresser) and also damaged my son's kitchen set breaking it into two pieces. I watched it happen and they lied to my face about it. Really awful experience from start to finish.

Maybaum Movers is my first choice every time. They arrived on time, were positive, and worked hard the entire time. They moved my furniture as if it was their own. When the door on the POD container wouldn't open, the movers immediately got to work solving the problem. I plan on calling Maybaum next time I need to move.
