These guys, headed by Tacio, were fabulous. Arrived a bit late in the a.m. due to a miscommunication, but they tried to make up the difference and worked really hard and were helpful and friendly the whole time, which I appreciated. Would definitely recommend them.

Nick and Stan were amazing! They arrived on time, were very fast and very careful with everything they did. It was apparent from the minute they started that they were professional and knew what they were doing. Not only did they work quickly and carefully, they were friendly as well. They took great care of my furniture and of our new floors. They assembled the furniture quickly and obviously knew what they were doing. I also appreciated that they took the time to ask where to put things and to clean up. I couldn't have asked for a better situation. I will absolutely use them again in the future. I would recommend Nick & Sons and Stan to anyone looking for fast, efficient, careful & friendly movers.

Diego and Tarcio were excellent! They packed the truck at the storage unit quickly and efficiently for transport to my new apartment. Then, at the new place, they worked hard to get everything in a tiny elevator and even carried a leather chair and couch up 5 flights of stairs. They made my move much easier.

Very impressed! They arrived early and got right to it. They were very thorough with moving my belongings making sure that everything was protected such as furniture and glass. They placed everything in my new home exactly where I wanted it. Overall GREAT experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who plans on moving. I know that I would absolutely use them again!

We used Nick & Sons for a local move, and we were very happy with the service they provided. They were recommended to me by a friend who had used them twice and had good experiences with them both times. The quote I received from Nick was considerably less than quotes I received from other movers (more than 1/3 less), so I decided to use them on the strength of my friend's recommendation. Nick is very enthusiastic and is easy to reach with questions. We did an in-town move of everything we own. He provided us with all of the packing materials beforehand. We packed our own things, except for fragile items. On the day of the move, Tarcio came early by himself to help us pack the fragile items (suggested by Nick to minimize cost). Once that was done, the rest of the crew (Nick, Nick, and Ron) showed up to disassemble our furniture and load the truck. These guys definitely know what they are doing -- each piece of furniture was thoroughly padded with blankets or shrink-wrapped, and they took extra special care of more fragile/valuable pieces. The crew was hardworking, and Nick kept everything moving at a brisk pace. When things were being unloaded into our new place, they asked where to put things and spent time helping us arrange our furniture. One of our pieces of furniture had been damaged in the past before the move, and Nick even helped us fix that to the best of his ability. At the end, the price I paid was the price I was expecting to pay based on his quotes. To be fair, the process wasn't completely seamless -- when packing our fragile items, Tarcio didn't bring enough packing materials with him, so I had to go and buy some more myself. And a few pieces of furniture did get a little dinged, but less so than I have experienced in previous moves (nothing was broken, including our fragile items). I highly recommend Nick & Sons if you're in the market for moving labor help. Turcio and Rafael were not only on time but even a little early. They were professional, efficient, courteous, and competent. Both gentlemen did the work in under the time i had hired them for and weren't even phased by the spiral staircase they needed to maneuver a couch up. They were strong and very conscientious as the made sure not to damage any of my furniture or walls in the process. I would DEFINITELY hire them again well worth the money and frankly a steal!
