When we arrived at the scheduled time the customer assumed we were to show up 2 hrs. Later. She mistook our arrival time for the pick-up time for the washer/dryer by other folks. This is when we mentioned if she need to reschedule. Upon completion of the initial walk thru she was immediately told that 1 container would not be enough and that it would take 2 containers. We were only scheduled for 2 hours and managed to still fill one container. 80% of that container being furniture and the remaining 20% with boxes and Miscellaneous items. Our objective was too but as much furniture as possible and fill in dead space with boxes and miscellaneous items. Once she was advised everything would not fit into one container she freely started prioritizing furniture that could stay and be donated. There was never any mention of another place the boxes could be placed nor were we told to leave them out. We certainly did not start loading with boxes first. With furniture alone it would fill a container and a half. She only had 1 container on site. The customer did try to order another container but it would not be delivered the same or next day. She had to be out the very next day. Once she realized she could not get another container is when the reality of situation set in. She was having to leave behind more than expected. Unfortunately , %100 of the time we don't set eyes on these jobs till we arrive on the date of service. Please take into consideration that issues with space exists before we even get there, Many times we have to start a job by saying everything is not going to fit and we need to prioritize what can go and what can stay. There was no mention of poor loading of the container, damages to belongings/property or lack to utilize the space we had to work with. In 2 hrs. We managed to load the 1 container she had on site with mostly big furniture. There was a big under estimation of the space needed and a next day vacate date that did not help the situation.
