I can't tell you how grrrrreat this company is! Morris and his team squeezed us in at the last minute when our plans changed in the evening and after a very long day they emptied our POD in 2 hours with all of our boxes, furniture and our old piano, washer and dryer, as well. They hooked everything up including our bedroom sets. They called and gave us a heads up and were right on time. And they even worked a few minutes after with no charge to finish up the job! Doesn't get any better than that!

We had selected a flexible start time when we booked their service, but the week of had tried nailing down an exact start date. They had initially said they'd show up at 11, then 12, then the day of they called and said they wouldn't make it until 3. They showed up shortly after 3.
Their website said they have plastic wrap for furniture included. I've used other companies that generously wrap all furniture to keep it clean and scratch free. They did not use plastic wrap, and when I asked for specific things to be wrapped were very conservative. I'm not sure if this is because they weren't aware of how other companies wrap furniture, or they were just trying to conserve space.
We hired 4 workers- it was clear Morris was the lead. There were times where two of them were just standing around though, and Morris would have to give them a specific task.
My last complaint was they didn't seem to be the best at utilizing space in the POD we were using. My husband was redirecting them to put things in other areas to make use of it all.
Other than that, they were curteous and professional. They were hard workers and were careful with everything we had to move.

Unfortunately they let me know they weren't coming after I had possession of the moving truck. All was planned around having helpers @ 1pm, then they said between 2-3, then it was they couldn't make it at all. They had committed two days before so should have been more aware of their schedule. Left me with last minute problems since I was relying on their equipment and had only that day in town to move.

Moving Texas was a great company to work with and I had a positive experience. They called ahead to let me know an estimated time of arrival, arrived at the time with 2 movers. They were respectful, courteous and they got the job done in about an hour. They handled the items with care and loaded the truck efficiently. I would recommend them to anyone needing movers.

I was very pleased with Moving Texas during my son't recent move to Austin. We received a call saying the helpers were on their way from the office and then they called and said they were en route. The two men who helped us unload a trailer into an apartment were very good help. They were very punctual and polite and insisted on handling all of the heavy items. They said that was what we paid them for. I would use Moving Texas again should the need arise.

The movers were nice but not knowledge about how to move certain items. They were unable to get our refrigerator out of the house because they did not know how to remove the doors. They spent 30 mins trying and ate up so much of the time I had paid for.
