We are highly trained professional movers with many years experience, we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years experience. I recently discovered after my husband had enough time to completely go through our 2 car storage unit that my safe is missing. This safe contained all my valauable jewelry I’ve acquired over the years and jewelry from our Alaskan Cruise in 2013. Including the ring my husband and I shopped for in preparation for our 25th redication of our vows wedding. All gone!! I’m very upset and it was a considerable loss. Included in the safe was also our passports, auto titles, stock certificates, insurance policies. As well as all the appraisal documentation on the jewelry. Upon calling Ogre Man Moving Co. I discovered the phone had been disconnected and the business is closed. I don’t know what further to do at this point. Can anyone assist?

The helpers were on time and prepared. They worked really hard - was a hot day, and they had to move furniture and boxes up 3 flights of stairs, and one guy had hurt his knee that morning, but still did the work. There were a couple of items that had minor damage, but that could be due to the nature of the stairs. I would recommend them.

Efficient work and we were able to start and finish exactly on time. I will say that there were a few times that I was a bit worried about the handling of the load, but in actuality nothing was broken or damaged, these guys are 100% pros. Would definitely recommend and will consider using them in the future.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received from Dave at Ogre Man. The two movers assigned to us were held up on a previous job, and rather than call and say "we're running late," Dave (supervisor) showed up personally and got things moving right away with no delay. Essentially we were packing and moving one room of my parent's house to a storage unit, and we were unprepared and overwhelmed. He just made it happen, pitching in to help us pack delicate items, organizing the storage unit so we could get to everything. He did the work of two guys! He did everything possible to make the move a success. I would not hesitate to recommend these movers. Courteous, on time, careful, and knowledgeable about how to move things safely. Many thanks!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job.
