We are highly trained professional movers with many years experience, we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years experience. These two men worked very hard and carefully throughout the entire job. Albert and Houston were friendly, able and thorough and filled our first pod extremely well. We would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of help and intend to request them for the next pods we are loading. They were a little early and stayed until the job was complete.

The Ogre Man movers arrived on time and worked hard from start to finish. They were friendly and respectful, asking questions whenever they needed me to clarify anything for them. They handled our stuff carefully and minimized the amount of disruption that the move created for our condo building. We had no damage at all from the move and it seemed like it was over before we knew it, which I am sure our neighbors were grateful for. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Ogre Men was not great. I requested 2 workers. Albert & Dwayne showed up right on time and did an amazing job packing the truck while they were there. They were super guys and the bad part of this review has nothing to do with them. I hired them for 4 hours completely unsure of how long it would take. The job ended up going into double time. But I let everyone know beforehand the job would most likely take longer than 4 hours. I was assured many times that it was not a problem. Why wouldn't they want to get paid for more time? Then, as the heaviest pieces of furniture were still on my driveway yet to be loaded on the truck, I get a call from David letting me know the guys needed to leave in 10 minutes. I had no idea how I was going to get these items on the truck myself and he offered no other alternatives. After hustling for the next 10 minutes to get the remainder of my stuff on the truck, Albert had to leave but Dwayne offered to stay behind to help - which I was incredibly grateful for! About 10 minutes after Albert left, David called me and was incredibly rude to me stating that Ogre Men was not liable for anything going forward. I offered to pay for just Dwayne for the time he was there but he refused. I did not appreciate the manner in which I was spoken to especially as he left me in the lurch. I found out a few days later than Dwayne had been fired to staying behind to help me and he didn't even accept payment for his time, just a ride home. I don't know how I would have coped without Dwayne and feel horrible this happened to him. Bottom line, if you're absolutely 100% sure of how long your packing will take, Ogre Men is a great company to use. Not so great if you have never used moving labor help before and are are clueless as to how long it will take. If that's the case, they may leave you stranded alone in your driveway with loads of heavy furniture.

These guys were great. They let me know the day before when they were going to show up, and called me early to let me know they hit traffic. They were courteous and fast, as well as careful with all of our delicate items. They finished a solid half an hour early, and were working hard the whole time. I highly recommend these guys.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job. We look forward to turning your most stressful day into an enjoyable experience.
