We are highly trained professional movers with many years experience, we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years experience. We specialize in everything from small households, to warehouses, to antiques and priceless pieces of art, upright and grand pianos, and everything in between. Our main goal is customer satisfaction, in addition we are non smokers so were not taking any unnecessary breaks, we get in there and get the job done as safely and as swiftly as possible. They were three and a half hours late. No phone call, we had to call hire a helper.
They took two hours longer because several of the guys just standing around. They only worked from just one location. (In comparison, when we got to our destination, it took 2 hrs less, with a man less, helping divide the truck between two places, storage and house).
I wanted the truck to load in a certain way to make unloading easier(front of truck storage, back residence). They ignored me and loaded it the way they wanted. Then they loaded book boxes on particle board shelf, and destroyed two bookcases. They broke an antique mirror that has been moved several times by professional movers over a 50 year period.
Who am I? I have been driving a truck for 22 years OTR.

Nothing but positive things to say about Dave and his crew. I asked for two guys and he shows up with four at no extra charge! Very professional packing job, took the time to do it right but also did it very quickly.

I used Ogre Man Movers to load my rented 16 foot truck and they did a great job. I drove the truck from so. cal. to no. cal. and had a different company unload the truck. Ogre Man was far superior than the company who had the easier unloading job. I thought I would have to pack the truck, but Ogre Man also did that. The crew leader was great, his helpers were just ok.

They were late but when they showed up they did a fantastic job. The owner of Ogre Man did answer my calls when they where late, then i had to call HireAHelper and they followed up on when the laborers will arrive.

I would definitely hire them again. They did an awesome job & all my items arrived at our new location with little or no damage. I under estimated the time frame and they worked tirelessly to get the job done. Job well done.

First off, they never called to confirm the appointment. I had to call them several times, left two messages, and still got no response until I contacted HireAHelper directly and got them involved. Then the movers didn't show up during the scheduled time of 11-12, so at 12:30 I tried calling them, and again no answer. Again, I had to contact HireAHelper directly and they were able to get in touch with the movers, who said they were running late but would be there within the hour. I waited two more hours, and still nothing--not even a phone call to keep me updated. I contacted HireAHelper again, and they were able to schedule a new moving team to come over within the hour.
I would not recommend Ogre Man Movers as their communication was very poor and I ended up waiting around all day for nothing which was extremely frustrating. However, HireAHelper was great throughout this stressful process, so 5 stars for them!

They were within the given arrival time frame. The actual movers (Albert & Antonio) were fantastic. They made quick work of both loading and unloading and were very professional. There was miscommunication from the confirmation person (day before) of a change from 2 to 3 movers. The 2 that showed up had to deal with a piano that should have been handled by 3. Those 2 did a good job. I would definitely hire them again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job. We look forward to turning your most stressful day into an enjoyable experience.
