I have had 7 major moves in the past and had never had to hire additional personnel to help me move. I had no idea how long it would take to load a Pod but estimated 2 men for 2 hours, and after packing, expected it to take at least 4 hours. Luis and his coworker arrived on time, introduced themselves, were extremely courteous and professional and finished the job in less than the 2 hours. They explained the process of loading and securing my articles and did a final walk-thru of my house and even added more boxes. I would definitely hire them again and will use American Discount Moving to help me unpack. If all of Hire-A-Helper's employees are of this caliber, no other company stands a chance.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We usually give preparations advice on how and what to expect when we come in ....and a procedures we follow when loading or unloading items from there truck
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We usually get boxes stacked up accordingly.... make sure there's always a path and make sure that there's nothing that could cause anyone to fall slip, safety is a number one priority
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Best thing is to stack boxes according to size , always have a free and open path where people could come in and out and make sure there is no tape , paper or boxes on the floor with someone could get hurt
What types of moves have you handled?
We've had done many personal home moves & office moves also where we have to inventory and describe items do a inventory sheet and professionally shrink wrap every item for protection
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
You get to meet a variety of people in this industry and sometimes make good friends
What training do you provide your crew members?
once my crew members are hired... I personally spend anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 weeks in training and showing them about safety packing and loading....but also letting them know why it's done this way
