I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so unbelievably bad that I feel obligated to warn others.
I’ve worked with moving companies for years, both personally and professionally. I hire movers through HireAHelper regularly, and I’ve always been impressed by the professionalism of the crews. The reviews on this platform have always helped me choose reliable companies.
Unfortunately, this company was the complete opposite.
First, I hired two movers to unload a partially loaded 26-foot truck. One mover arrived first, took a picture to mark his arrival, and then spent about 40 minutes waiting for his partner before they even started working. Despite doing absolutely no work during that time, they started charging me from the moment the first mover arrived. I was billed for time they spent waiting on each other.
The bigger issue came afterward.
The day before the move, I specifically contacted them to make sure they would bring the tools needed to assemble my furniture. They confirmed that they would.
When the unloading was finally finished, they suddenly informed me that they had another job to get to and would not assemble the furniture as promised.
I wasn’t asking for free work. I repeatedly told them I was happy to pay for the additional time. I never complained about how slowly they worked, even though the unload took much longer than expected. I simply wanted them to finish the job I hired them to do.
Instead, they left one of my beds half assembled, packed up their things, and drove away because they “didn’t have time.”
Now I have to hire and pay an entirely different moving company just to finish assembling furniture that should have been completed during this move.
To make matters even worse, after I contacted customer support, the owner personally spoke to me in an incredibly rude and dismissive manner. Instead of taking responsibility, he apparently provided false information to HireAHelper, claiming his crew had been working from the moment the first mover arrived, conveniently ignoring the fact that one employee was almost 40 minutes late and the other was simply standing there waiting.
So not only did I receive incomplete and unprofessional service, I was also overcharged for it.
Moving isn’t just about carrying boxes. It’s a customer service business. Professionalism, communication, honesty, and standing behind your work matter just as much as physical labor. Unfortunately, this company demonstrated none of those qualities.
I cannot recommend them under any circumstances. There are far better movers on HireAHelper who actually care about their customers, their reputation, and finishing the job they were hired to do.

The movers were nice enough. However they were late and they left empty water bottles thrown on the grass near my pod container. (I know Because I gave them the water) They also stole my ratchet straps. I reached out to the manager Camillo a few times in regards to the straps to see if he would make it right but I received no response. In fact the only time i heard From him was when the reservation was made and when the movers finally arrived other than that nothing. I wouldn’t use them again nor do i recommend.
