Grade A employees were punctual to arrive on-site. They were unaware with what they were hired to do prior to arriving. They seemed to have no tools for the job (we supplied everything). While they were unloading the trailer, they pulled off all the blankets and used the dolly directly on the furniture, leaving scratches. We were also informed by the movers that we had them for two hours only and that we'd be unloading anything left in the trailer ourselves after that time. They started handing us boxes and items out of the trailer which we ended up piling on the sidewalk to sort and move into the storage unit ourselves to allow them to get the heavier furniture. The trailer was emptied just in time, but my family had to sort and store a large amount of items ourselves. I had been outside the building the entire time answering questions and sorting. The movers left and I finally had a chance to see the storage unit. It was packed poorly, wasting a lot of space. We now have to remove everything and repack it. Very disappointing and not worth the price we paid.

Our team did arrive with the proper tools for the job, including dollies, shoulder straps, and additional equipment. They also used the dollies and flat carts provided by the storage facility as required. The job was booked and described to us as unloading a 16-foot trailer, but upon arrival it was actually a 26-foot ABF semi-truck trailer, which significantly increased the workload within the same scheduled time.

The movers handled your furniture with care, using pads, dollies, and proper lifting methods. As noted during booking, your crew was scheduled for 2 hours only, which is why they informed you of the time limit. The move started at 6 PM, and because it becomes unsafe and not guaranteed to work past the booked time—especially in the dark—they focused on unloading the heavier furniture first to ensure all critical items were handled by professionals.

Sorting, organizing, or rearranging items inside the storage unit is not included in a basic 2-hour unload. With the size of the trailer and the time constraint, the team prioritized getting everything safely off the truck within the time you reserved.

We understand the move didn’t meet your expectations, but the crew worked efficiently and professionally within the scope, time, and details provided in the booking. We hope this clarifies the situation, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
