The company called me two days prior to ask if they could move the appt up one day. This would not have worked for me and I asked why since I had booked a month in advance. The gentleman I spoke to (Henry) explained that Hire a Helper had booked them another job in Brooklyn at 10am while my 2 hour job in Central NJ was scheduled for an 8am arrival. He asked if they could come early (7am) on my scheduled date to which I said yes. They arrived at 645am and worked extremely hard the entire time. They were even down one person as their fourth guy called out of work. They did their best to fit as much as they could in to my POD which ended up not fitting all my stuff. The guys even gave me advice on which sized storage unit would best fit the remaining boxes and other furniture items I had. I found these men to be people who went above and beyond despite the circumstances and would recommend them to anyone looking for movers.
