The team was fast - unloaded a 16' container in under two hours with three people and marginal help from myself. They were careful with most of my things and put pads down to protect my floor and bannisters.
Biggest con - they put a lot of boxes in the wrong rooms. Kitchen boxes upstairs in the guest bedroom, office boxes in the master. 90% of the boxes were clearly labeled and I walked them through the house before starting. Wishing I had paid more attention to that so I could have had them fix that with all the paid time left that they had.

I had the opportunity to have Jesse and Jerry conduct the move of our household goods from house to storage container. Wow! They worked hard and did a wonderful job! The two young men also impressed me with the care that they took in properly wrapping our furniture, and ensuring that the house did not suffer any of the typical dings and dents associated with moving. They were right on time, and got 'er done! I would definitely use this team of fantastic movers again. Thank you, Jesse and Jerry!

I was moving across country, from Colorado to Pennsylvania and although most of my property I was moving was in boxes, I didn't know how important is was to packing the truck. Your staff was so helpful and knowledgeable about how to pack the truck that when I unloaded, it was so much easier. Nothing moved, nothing damaged and everything went smoothly.

Awesome team, took care with our things, incredibly efficient job loading up the truck and utilizing all the space. They worked hard, and I will be using them again next time.

The second half of our move was a total disaster. We had four people booked for 9:00am, but they were double booked and nobody showed up until after 1:30pm, when only 2 people showed up. They were complaining about how tired they were from the morning move. Another person showed up 45 minutes later and the fourth person over an hour and a half later. They were all clearly exhausted and moving slowly.
They damaged our drywall in 3 places (nothing too bad, but did require repaid beyond touch up painting. They incorrectly assembled 2 beds (very obviously too) which I had to take apart and redo the following day
After 4 hours they were visibly tired and just decided they were done. They left with several pieces of furniture not put together, even though they had specifically been asked to do so.
Honestly, we felt bad for the crew, they were obviously over booked and totally wiped out. Very nice group of people, but we got stuck with bad service because management double booked them. We used Hire A Helper for both halves of our move. The first half was great, but this second half was so bad I question ever using them again.
