Moses did a great job with communication before and during the move including calling the day before to take an inventory and to confirm arrival time. His crew was 2 hrs late to the job (Moses did call them and had them contact me to update me on the delay) but once they were here they were polite, efficient and hard working. I will definitely be calling on Moses and his crew the next time I have a move. His communication and flexibility are much better than most moving companies. Definitely recommend him!

Updated. This was the first time I used Hireahelper. The online booking process was easy. Moses at Ultimatemoversllc was very helpful when I needed to change dates, but may have later confused me with another customer because he did not provide blankets or tools for the move. Rodney and Kevin, the crew, were very hard working, professional and did not damage anything. The crew reported their delayed arrival at unloading site was due to vehicle problems and it left oil stains. Might use them again..

Two courteous movers showed up at our house and seemed to have no actual idea how to load a moving truck. They literally just piled everything up in the truck, at one point they took our queen mattress and threw it on top of the boxes in the truck. I had to ask repeatedly for them to cover furniture, and they put my wooden chest on top of a Rubbermaid container?!? We had 6 ratchet straps to secure stuff and they only used one when I specifically asked them to. Afterward, they told me it was 2.5 hours, when they had only been there for 1.25 hours. When I questioned them, they said it was for “travel time from Tacoma”. First of all, Tacoma is 15-20 minutes away, and secondly, the website says travel is included. We would not use these loaders again.

The movers arrived right on time, were well prepared and very nice to talk with. They were quick and had helpful suggestions on how to prepare a couple of larger items for the move. Everything made it to the new place and nothing was broken in transit. A few pieces of furniture got some scratches in the move, but we were overall very happy with how the move and think they did a great job!
