Chose this company because of great reviews, but wanted to leave a review of my experienced. We received two young movers who both were working on their very first move. While wrapping the furniture, they took far longer than any movers I have used in the past. Driving the truck, they took over 20 minutes to pull into the spot I told them to and ran over my street sign in the process. In the end, because of how slow moving they were, the move took 6 hours to move to a 2 bedroom apartment from Downtown to Santa Monica and this was only with my roommate and I moving more furniture than they did. I reached out to the company to see if there was anything that could be done and held off writing a review until I heard back. I never heard from them, so I am leaving a review here of my experience. Based on other reviews I feel as though I just got unlucky but still feel like I should leave an honest review.

While everything got in the house, the movers didn't look at the labels on the boxes. Many kitchen supplies ended up upstairs, while a lot of what needed to move upstairs just ended up in the garage as the closest place to set something down that unloaded the pod.
They would not help assemble furniture they didn't disassemble.
There was no going the extra mile. The movers finished the job in an hour and still required the three-hour minimum, They then wouldn't leave until I tipped, even though they were paid for more time than they worked.
The crew had a hard time understanding my husband's British accent. Instead of asking him to repeat what he said, they just talked at him slower.

They were delayed about 3 hours, but once they arrived they worked quickly and efficiently to carefully load all our belongings. We had blankets, shrink wrap and tape ready for their use. They were great.

My movers Jonathan and Marvin were awesome!!! They were full prepared to do the job on my busy street. Jonathan is an absolute beast, the man could lift a freight train. Marvin was great at lifting, organizing, and packing the truck.

Hard working crew. Difficult to slow them down, only needed to to remind to use enough blankets after I ran out of furniture blankets

The two workers were respectful and kind to my elderly parents who were at the initial site. They wrapped all items that did not have kids and anything breakable. They arrived at the second site and helped move everything to the correct room and didn't waste time chatting. It was alittle more than expected price wise but worth it since my back and my family backs were saved.
