The movers showed up early and I was in professional development for my job (I teach from home). I missed an important meeting with a Special Education student and his parents. The guy who took charge did not listen to what furniture I wanted packed first. Budget rented me a truck that was too small and I had to leave a considerable amount of furniture behind. Before they even started loading, he said "there's no way this is going to fit, but you can rent another truck and I'll drive it down for you. You'll have to fly me back." He continued to tell me that the last people didn't tip, which was an obvious hint he expected a tip from me. He yelled the entire time at the other guy (who was nice, respectful, and doing his best). Instead of loading my most expensive furniture first, they just did what the guy in charge wanted. They wasted a ton of space and my son and I had to repack some of the truck after they left. They also damaged some of my furniture, even though it was wrapped. I paid for 2 hours and they worked 1 hr and 15 minutes. I would never use the service again based on my experience with the guy calling the shots.
