I booked A-1 Movers based on their reviews and I am glad I did. The job was to load a Pak-Rat 16 ft container for a long distance move. I showed the owner and both workers what there was to load. After a few questions and discussion, the loading and packing started. It was fast and was a phenomenal job. The little furniture I had was wrapped with moving blankets and shrink wrapped to perfection. No wasted space, every inch of the container was used. These guys were very polite and seemed to like their work and prided themselves on doing a good job. I highly recommend them.

They were 1 hour late but called in-advance to inform me which I appreciated. Yes, they were prepared for the job. Yes, they worked hard. Yes, they were respectful of my property and goods. And absolutely yes, I would use them again. I greatly apprecated the extra effort in assembling items such as the bed frame and the mirror to the dresser. I also appreciated their moving a very large and heavy desk with no damage to the desk or to my property. Overall a satisfactory experience in a stressful time. Thank you.

I can't say enough about how respectful, to my wants and concerns, my movers were. They did a wonderful job protecting and handling my items, as they loaded them into a storage container. I originally hired 3 movers, for 4 hours, which turned into 5.5 hours and this move was done in 90 degree weather on tarmac. Even up to the brutal end, of the move, the movers remained very professional and I would highly recommend them.

Fred was absolutely AMAZING, great people skills, great care in my furniture, great packing skills, and very timely. He is one of the best people I've dealt with in ages. Alec was good too but obviously a bit more green and relied on Fred for direction. I can't tell you enough how appreciative I am for Fred's expertise, he was just GREAT!!!!!! These guys get an A+ for their services!!!!

These three guys were fantastic. We had to move down 3 flights and then up three flights both staircases from the 19th Century. No walls were even scratched. They were neat, efficient, happy, creative young men. They moved some difficult pieces. They got everything in one truck that would have taken me at least two trucks. They finished an hour early and even helped us move some stuff down the stairs from the new apartment that we wanted to discard. Great solution renting the truck ourselves and then having them do all the work. Highly recommend the company and the three guys who came. Great value in the end

we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
