Although they were late... I understand why! They were giving the previous customer the same fantastic service they gave us! Good service takes time and effort. They gave us BOTH, Well prepared for the job having done numerous "POD Packing" jobs before gave them the experience we were looking for, since we are moving cross-country and want our things to get there safely and in one piece. These hard working guys moved quickly but were very respectful of us, our property and home. I can assure you that when the need arises we will definitely use them again. I'd give them my strongest recommendation for a job truly "Well Done!"

Nicholas and Fred were better than 5 stars but that is all this site will allow me to give them. Let me list a few of their qualities: 1) punctual 2) polite 3) respectful 4) friendly 5) efficient. These are just a few; however, let me say that they were able to pack up my cube with so much of the things I needed to move and did so in the 2-hour window and some of the things I learned while watching them with my belongings will stay with me forever. I had no idea how to shrink wrap my bureau or wardrobe as they were moved with items in them. Nicholas took care of this in a matter of seconds and secured all my items. My only drawback was my lack of being able to figure out I needed either a bigger cube or an additional one to take the rest of the things I had wanted to take but let me tell you that Nicholas and Fred did everything in their power to put as much as possible in that one cube. If they could have put things on top to make it work without damaging my things, they would have. I really wish they were going with me to my new location in Kentucky so they could do the unloading, too. I really appreciate their work ethic! I hope I get the same type of helpers when my belongings arrive in my new location. THANK YOU: Nicholas and Fred (side note: you make each other look good :-) ).

Despite calling to let me know they had run into some traffic and may be a few minutes late they actually showed up a few minutes early. Nick, Fred and Antonio immediately assessed what I had, carefully wrapped my furniture and expertly loaded the POD. I was concerned if everything I had would fit into the 16 foot POD. Not only did they neatly fit everything, there was room to spare. They were very respectful of my property and goods, friendly, answered all of my questions and completed the job in the three hours I contracted for. I would definitely use them again.

The movers were on time, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. I was especially impressed with how well they protected our furniture with blankets and plastic wrap. Nothing was damaged.

The team from A-1 was terrific. They called to let me know they were on their way. The team consisted of Nick, Dustin and Antonio. They also had Hope with them as their driver. They had all the tools they needed to disassemble my furniture. In addition, they located the shut off valve for our ice maker so they could move the refrigerator (something I hadn't thought about beforehand). They worked well together as a team and were very hard-working, professional, kind and friendly. They made the entire experience VERY easy for me - putting my mind to rest. I almost forgot to mention, unfortunately, my builder showed up just before them and he and his worker were jackhammering my old floor in the main area of the house during the entire time the A-1 team was moving the furniture. They had to work around them, climbing over cords and debris, while listening to some really loud jackhammering noise! Every thing looks very organized in the container they place the furniture in. I will leave another review when they come to move the furniture back as then we will see how the whole thing worked out. At this point, I would highly recommend them!

Excellent job. Crew was one man short (had to move a piano and heavy treadmill with two guys and had no problem) and did a great job. Would highly recommend.

Christopher and Freddie were awesome. From beginning to end they took very good care of my boxes my furniture they know how to pack an S Christopher says he's a magician and believe me to get all of my stuff in there he is a magician. Both fine respectable men. 5 star plus!!!! Will definitely recommend them.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
