Nicholas and Fred from A1 Movers were literally "the dream team". They called me on the morning of the move to let me know they were on their way and arrived before I did! They were friendly, very respectful, very knowledgeable and super efficient in every aspect of the move, from unloading the truck to assembling several pieces of furniture. They truly went above and beyond! I would totally hire them again for any future moving situations and very highly recommend them and their company. I had heard horror stories from friends about moving their college students into Boston apartments so I was expecting the worst, they obviously didn't hire A1 Movers! Provided excellent service. Helped me put down area rugs and pads, organize boxes, and place furniture so I wasn't left w just a jumble of household goods to deal with. Also moved some items to my exterior storage area. Worked hard!

These guys were terrific! They called when they were on their way, they were ready to work on arrival and they worked really hard. Two of them did more than the work of three that I had previously hired from another company. They were super careful with everything, and I would absolutely use them again.

These guys arrived when they were supposed to. They worked for hours and never complained or stopped. The ability to pack our rental truck was amazing! Extremely helpful and willing to disassemble things! Can't say enough good things about them. Great people and terrific attitudes! Gonna try and hire them for the unload Friday!

These guys were absolutely amazing. They showed up on time and worked incredibly hard with meticulous care to detail. They wrapped my furniture so well and were able to fit everything in the 16' truck I rented. Honestly, that is a skill that us non-moving folk don't have. If you're considering moving yourself my advice to you is just don't. Hire these guys instead! I hired them based on the reviews and do not regret it. They fit my items in the truck perfectly and secured them so well that I did not have any concern about them moving around while driving the nearly four hours to my new home. They ended up staying an extra hour, but checked in with me after the first two to make sure I was OK with that. I did not find a scratch on any of my items and if they serviced Vermont I would have hired them on the other end too. Do not hesitate to book these guys - they are the best of the best.

So impressed with A-1 Movers-- they were on-time, friendly, and really knew their way around packing (from taking apart furniture, to wrapping furniture, to packing so tightly to maximize space and safety). Highly recommend them!!!

These guys are the best. Nick was the Foreman on the job. He and his crewed helped pack my Budget Rental of 3 bedrooms. Living Room and Dining room and all the other things one accumulates over 13 years I cannot thank them enough for the great job. The either crew was friendly and professional.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
