The crew that came to my house were amazing! Very professional, they called to say they were on their way. They not only were on time they asked if they could come earlier which worked out for us so much better! They did an amazing job and treated all my stuff with care like it was their own. They came with their own equipment to get things moved! I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

I should get at least a 50% refund!!! They were not self directed and wasted tons of time. One was even less involved. They damaged a couple of things, had plenty of time to tell me and or show me -- but they did not. I am amazed they got so little done in six hours!!! Help I hired two days later got more done, AND unloaded the pod in just under two hours. Junk removal team the following day made the Southern Cross guys seem like the D squad.

Once I put in the order and paid I received an email the day before the move that it was not confirmed and tried to reschedule.
Upon calling in informing truck was already rented and planned that date based on my initial confirmation I finally got a call back and Greg from Southern Cross promised he'd have crew there, even if it was himself to make good
Hire a helper team did assessed in looking at alternate and helping secure that day.
The team was a little late but they did come to work, although it was only 2 guys of the 4 I reserved/paid for. A positive note Greg did send actually for extra guys to make up for this about halfway through, so in the end my time schedule was met which no problem with that.
There seem to be quite confusion and separate issues that became my problem within the company.
The workers were excellent, working hard and diligently to get job done. I would say an 8 out of 10 in being careful with my items. There was an issue going up the stairs where I asked them to slow down and let's figure the angle out as they rushed up and punctured the wall with a good size hole and chunk of the banister. The lead worker took pictures and informed me they would cover this that Greg would send somebody out to patch.
After five calls and four texts I received no word back from Greg at Southern Cross and was left to care for it myself at my expense after I paid for full service and tipped well.
My recommendation would be wary with doing business with this management.

Jonte and his partner (my bad I can’t remember his name) arrived on time and started in unloading the pod. The 2 men were very definitely careful of our belongings and unloaded and put everything where we asked . They did a great job ! Thank you guys !

I cannot say enough positive things about the young men who assisted with the unloading. No damage to any of my belongings and they were very friendly and polite. I would recommend Southern Cross Moving for anyone who needs things moved, unloaded/loaded, or relocated within their homes.

The movers that came today Bubba and Will called me ahead of time to let me know when they were coming which was great to be able to plan my morning. They showed up right when they said they would. Bubba and Will worked great as a team and moved everything up to my apartment within the 3hrs. They even put together my bed which we completely forgot how it went together.
I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Upon booking us we will reach out with a courtesy call upon accepting your order and getting details about your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
If booking a morning job the guys will call when leaving the shop with gps arrival time. If afternoon arrival we will keep the customer up to date with the crews progress on current job.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Box up all miscellaneous items such as lamps, pictures and small items. If needed we can supply packing materials and labor. Make sure they have all personal items they need for their trip put aside.
What types of moves have you handled?
We travel all over the U.S.A and have loaded shipping containers to go all over the world. If it needs to be moved we can get it there, worldwide.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about this business is helping people that don't have the time or physical ability to do it themselves. I hear from a lot of our customers how they moved themselves so many times but are just to old to do it anymore. That is we come in for their first experience with paid movers to show them how stress free it can be at an affordable price.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are ran through a wrapping and loading class at our warehouse before going on their first job. Proper technique on wrapping furniture to minimize damage and then loading of trucks,pods, and storage units.
