John 3:16 Movers - A Local Oak Forest Moving Company

We informed customer we were about 20 min behind schedule and this was his response "It’s all good! See you when you get here, no stress!" (Copied and pasted from text). Customer informed us he was a Chaplain). I asked if he picked us because of our name. He said yes and we started talking about it while we worked. We finished the job in under the time purchased. He was totally into conversing initially, but I believe he started feeling a way once I asked some questions he was unwilling or unable to answer which is fine until your pride causes you to get offended when you were not insulted. I find out through this review that the inability to answer my questions led to him feeling 'berated', and a desire to attempt to bruise our reputation by exaggerating our dialogue. He suggested ceasing the conversation but kept talking which was confusing. Even so much that I had to make the same recommendation to him. I did not speak 95% to his 5%, it was honestly closer to 55/45. It does not take under an hour to unload a fully loaded 16ft container into a 2 story house. I'm just glad we finished in the time allocated with no damage to property or belongings. The other part was.. unfortunate.

Unfortunately Moving providers aren't able to book other customers in time slots which have already been booked by other customers which is why this is usually an industry standard. However, being you booked 2 movers and we provided 3 for you since our move prior required 3, I believe that is why it only took 2 hrs. Thank you for your kind words and 5 stars Ms. F!

Once again Mr Rogers, we do apologize. As we mentioned, we ran into an accident on the expressway that halted traffic for close to 45 min. For customers which 30 min could make or break, we suggest booking an earlier window, as emergencies and minor delays are rare but can happen.

I told one of our movers to watch the door while carrying a light but slightly wide Ikea desk 'before' he accidentally scratches the front door, which he didn't. I said this right in front of the customer. I did see him fumble a small box, but onto grass and nothing was damaged the entire move or I'm confident it would've been disclosed in the review. I am not confused this customer would exaggerate to this extent as the customer was under the influence and his entire apartment smelled of strong marijuana. We finished the move in under the time allocated with zero damage. Please see prior reviews for genuine sentiment regarding our work ethic.

The company policy (which customer agreed to and accepted prior) is unused time is non refundable as we miss perspective orders when time is blocked for customers who requested a specific amount of hours. Customers are usually happy when we finish quicker than intended. However, our movers arrived on time, finished in time with zero damage.
