The movers were on time and ready to work. They completed emptying the entire apartment in the 2 hour time frame. My only complaint is while moving the sofa out of the apartment they caught the sofa on a piece of the door and put a small hole in the brand new sofa. I witnessed this and addressed it immediately. Even with this I would definitely refer this company. Hard working crew.

UPDATE 10/20/20 I am revising my review to reflect that the movers (2 men) were doing their job as best described to them. I didn’t realize that I had paid them for 4 hours regardless of the actual time in which that time period might require them to complete the job. It took less than 4 hours, but they stayed on the property for the entire 4 hours which made it appear they were goofing off in order to extend their time. I was incorrect in my judgment and was advised of the company’s policy. I am satisfied with the explanation given. I would recommend Hire A Helper and would consider using their service again.

10/11/20 Moving my property was a really simple one and should not have taken 2 guys more than 2 1/2 hours to remove and place my belongings in a POD on the property. Everything was organized, boxed up and ready upon their arrival. 1 couch, 2 small living room chairs, 3 acrylic dining chairs, 1 piece of glass for dining table, 2 night stands, 3 mirrors and approximately 15 boxes.
I was disappointed that they dragged out more time than necessary. On two occasions, they disappeared! I searched for them around and inside of the truck and walked several floors but I could not find them They disappeared for a great length of time and left my property sitting on the dolly on two separate floors near the elevator which annoyed other residents. After 4 wasted hours, they announced everything was inside the truck at 12:57 p.m. leaving 3 minutes to spare. I would not recommend these two men. Although I enjoyed a good working relationship with Hire A Helper personnel, Unfortunately, I will not request further service to find my next movers when I complete renovations and move my 1 bedroom property back into my home.
