I did have to call the main company at Hire A Helper twice and leave an email for the company because the numbers I was given to confirm with my helper through Economy Moving Co. said that the numbers were not set up to receive messages. This made me nervous and Hire A Helper did reply that they would get in contact with Economy Moving and make sure they contacted me. On our moving day, I did have to call Economy moving as no one had arrived at the designated time and I was told that they were running late but that now a crew of 3 would be sent instead of 2 and that they would definitely get my move done in the 2 hour time frame. My son and one very hard working black gentleman did practically all the moving of the furniture and boxes into the elevator and into the apartment. The other 2 gentlemen were unloading the boxes and furniture and loading them up against the elevator. My sister and son put the bed frame back together with tools we had brought so that the mattresses could be placed. The job was completed in the designated time frame and I do thank especially the gentleman that did most of the work with my son’s help.

They arrived right on time, had all the equipment they needed, started to work and didn’t stop until done. They packed all our furniture and boxes into the van beautifully and safely. They carried fragile stuff out to the van very carefully, when they weren’t sure of something they asked a question. They were super pleasant, very courteous and cordial at all times. I never saw anyone just standing around doing nothing, all of them were working all the time. I just can’t say enough about how pleased we were with them, it was just a very good day to see our stuff handled so well, packed so well and ready for its long journey. I would recommend them highly.

I received a call saying they were 30 minutes away & well within the time scheduled. My husband had already opened the moving container & these guys started in right away. They were very quick! Even though I'd asked for two helpers for two hours, five came because their next job required that many people so the others chipped in & they were done in 15 minutes! Granted, there wasn't that much but it was amazing how hard they worked & made sure everything got done to our satisfaction. Not a nick or dent in anything & I would certainly hire them again or recommend them to someone. The only thing we noticed was that not all of them wore masks but that was a minor thing since my husband & I wore them. Thank you, Economy Moving. Great job!
