This company was an excellent, polite, friendly team of men — moved large sections of oak kitchen cabinets and more up a long stair, and carried(!) a giant refrigerator down. Quick and strong and careful. I’d never hesitate to hire them again.

Due to a circumstance beyond their control, they were running late. We'd asked for a two man crew for two hours. To make up for the delay, Josh brought a 4 man crew to make up for the late arrival.

Absolute rock stars! They were on time and, Josh, one of the owners was great. No dropped or damaged items, and they packed the UHaul like pros! This was a last minute move, literally. I booked at 8AM and they were there at 1PM. I would absolutely recommend J & E Moving!!

These guys were nice enough but pretty unprofessional—heavy boxes were stacked on top of light ones, furniture was damaged, the back half of the container (I used Pods) was packed to the ceiling while the front was nearly empty because they couldn't estimate how to balance it, and one of them spent way too much time telling me about QAnon (it's legit, apparently) and trying to get me to help fund his Kickstarter. During loading, I even walked in on one of them trying to hide a leg he'd broken off a dresser. While unloading I was disappointed (but not particularly surprised) to find a few more large pieces of furniture with damage due to carelessness, including a kitchen table whose surface is now entirely covered in scratches because they unnecessarily stacked other items on top of it without any protection (yes, I had blankets, bubble wrap, etc. available to use). Even the other movers who unloaded my stuff at my destination asked, "Uhh, did you actually hire someone to do load this?" Yes, yes I did. Spend an extra $50-100 and hire professionals.

The crew of J &L Moving were phenomenal. They were able to move everything out of storage and out of our house and load it up in a moving truck in a little over 3 hours. They work hard, were careful with fragile items and extremely careful with my antique spinet piano. I highly recommend them for loading/unloading and any other moving needs.
