We are a professional moving company based out of Salem Oregon, We have 14 years experience in the moving business we have been helping families with there moving needs and more we also have been loading and unload there rental trucks and 53 foot trailers for years, we also offer packing and unpacking of your house hold goods and as always our goal is your satisfaction. They arrived 30 minutes late and didn't sent out Josh as we were told, instead they sent two young guys that looked like 20 years old. They seemed very unprofessional and didn't seemed to care about my furniture or boxes at all and they even dropped one of my boxes. They left screws all over the bedroom and forgot to put them with the other screws in the pod after they disassembled the beds. They were not able to put all of my items in the pod because of the poor stacking skills they had. When I called Josh, the owner to make some arrangements and tried to workout a solution for it, that would involve sending someone to help me reload and pack everything in the pod, he was very rude and not able to talk to me like a professional would do. I had to unload and reload everything the next day after with someone else's help and we were able to fit all of my furniture including my boxes into the pod and we don't even have experience on it. I would not recommend this company to anyone and definitely would never hire them again.

Nick and Damon (hope I got their names correctly) arrived at the right time and had the right attitude. They were young in years but their professional attitude made itself felt immediately. Their good training made them competent so that the heart and soul they put into the job created a great result. They treated us and our property with great respect. The crew from J & E Moving showed up about 2 hours late and one crew member came to my front door with a lit cigarette hanging out of his mouth. I paid for 4 people to work 4 hours and while 4 people showed up for the job, only 1 or 2 worked at a time. They took regular smoke breaks lasting 15 minutes and took an entire hour break for a lunch. The crew was friendly and professional but were not careful with my belongings. They stacked heavy boxes on top of smaller boxes, crushing them. They left some boxes upside down and scratched my wood floor with their hand truck. When I called the owner to request a 50% refund for only receiving 1/2 the service I paid for, he yelled at me and threatened me with a law suite. Caution when hiring J & E Moving.

J&E Moving took this job the for the next day and had a crew at the house ready to work. The guys were hard working and very pleasant. This job was larger than I thought and we would like to have the same crew back to do the rest soon.

They were slow and reckless. They damaged the brand new floors in our apartment while moving a bureau, then said it wasn't their fault! After my husband talked to them, they asked for pictures (which were sent). Then we never heard from them again! They didn't answer or return my calls and we are stuck with damaged floors! I would NEVER use this company again.

The crew was hardworking, careful with our things and got the job done but was under-trained and under equipped. They arrived with no equipment (dollies, hand carts, back braces) even though we made it clear we had large, heavy things to move. One fellow injured himself because of this and I went and procured moving equipment myself to prevent further harm. After moving the washer and dryer inside, the man helping me connected the lines to the wrong pipes (hot to cold and cold to hot) and was trying to plug the washer drain pipe into the gas outlet for the dryer when I stopped him and sent him to do something else. My wife had to correct their assembling of the kitchen table (legs backwards) and at the end of the day we had asked them to complete the crib-bed for my son, but as soon as I signed for the payment they vanished, without completing that task. They didn't even say they were leaving or claim their gratuity. We ultimately are grateful for their help, but a more experienced team was expected. I can hire random knuckleheads on Craigslist without seeking a formal service. Please train your people!
