Scheduled arrival between 9am-10am. They arrived about 10 am, was not the crew I hired. Harold was booked so he sent his brother Larry and his sons. That would've been fine if they were ready to work. Unfortunately they preferred to take more breaks than work. The guys spent most of the time hanging out in their car (smoking...). Left for lunch an hour after getting here. I was shocked to say the least. Larry did a pretty good job loading the first half of the truck but none of them listened to direction (as to what was to be loaded and what was not). Upon inspection we had to unload the last half of the truck and reload it. This did allow me to load the items they said wouldnt fit and would have to be left behind. My things were just thrown on the truck and definitely wouldn't have made the cross country trip. I feel I should get a portion of the fee returned due to excessive breaks,just standing around doing nothing but wasting time and having to redo their work. I am very disappointed as to the work they did and would NOT recommend using this company. I will be filing a complaint with Hire A Helper.

Guys called to tell me that they were running behind but worked really hard to move my 5000 sq ft house in 6 hours. I would recommend these guys over and over again. Thank you so much. Life savers for anyone that waits to the last minute like me

That the two young men wore matching black T-shirts gave a good first impression. They added to it with how quickly and competently they worked, lugging heavy furniture down a flight of stairs, around corners and through narrow doorways. They were also polite and personable.
