Service provider wanted to reschedule on short notice due to possible rain but later shared that it was for his personal reasons; uncertainties about arrival next day made us adjust moving prep and question would they arrive at all; no communication from provider prior to late arrival. We felt sympathetic toward his personal family issue, however, we were short-changed by the way the lead man chose to manage it. It could have been handled better with earlier and more honest communication. We faced uncertainty and late arrival on our moving day and began loading the rental truck ourselves when he did not answer texts. They arrived 4 hours past originally scheduled time. The mover told us the day before that the only way he could show for the job was to bring his 3 y.o. child along. His daughter was adorable but it was not appropriate or safe for her to be present on the job. His helper worked diligently and followed directions. Looking back, we should have cancelled Irongate and tried to get another service provider but time was extremely short.

Customers can expect a stellar service from start to finish! From the initial contact til the moment payment has been made. We show up on time, fully equipped and ready to rock!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
They can expect a courtesy call before the move starts, the crew arrives, takes a look at the home and does a pre check. That means checking around the house to look at the condition of the items so that we are on the same page. Then we bring in the tools and start getting the items ready for transport. In the truck the items get packed safely and securely to ensure a successful move. They can expect smiling and friendly movers because customer service and satisfaction is our top priority!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Everything should be ready for the upcoming move. Dressers should be empty, unless otherwise stated Items should be in a box ready to go TVs and appliances should be unhooked from walls and connectors Have your items being moved and items being discarded to be organized beforehand. Disclose all items of extreme importance and value beforehand
