The guys were work horses. They didn’t mess around. Extremely careful moving furniture and not scraping any walls. I would hire them again.

This was a complete rip off. I ordered a 24 ft truck and 2 guys for my 2 bedroom move. They showed up 2 and half hours late with 3 guys and a 10 ft trailer. It took them almost 6 hours to do the move and it wasn't even completed! They left some things at the old place that we had to arrange for them to meet us to go get and all they did then was load it into our personal vehicles. They then forced me to pay them an additional $350 in order to complete the move. While I do admit that the original time slot I booked was going to be tight, they spent over 2 hours trying to get everything to fit in the small trailer. I did disclose my full inventory to them when they finally returned my phone calls. If they would have come with the 24 ft truck I ordered, it would not have been an issue. On top of the extortion for more money, they also damaged a lot of my furniture in their attempts to squeeze everything in. Don't be fooled by their friendly demeanor, that is probably due to the weed they admitted to smoking regularly.

They were late and unprepared! And one of the workers smelled of marijuana ??My service arrival window was between 3-4 pm. Called to confirm the date and time and was told by Demetrius that it would be closer to 4. One showed about 4:20 and the other showed about 4:50. Did not receive a call that they would be late.
Showed with no hand truck or shrink wrap. We had to lend them my family members personal hand truck to move heavy furniture and used our shrink wrap They stayed until 6 and we paid for 2-hrs for 2-movers...
We did tip them as they worked very hard and appeared tired.

Irongate movers did an excellent job moving our household goods from our moving truck and into our new home. They treated everything we had to move with care. Their entire crew was professional and respectful in all of their actions. Most impressive was the efficiency of their service. I highly recommend them as this is the crew that will absolutely go above and beyond to make sure your move is as peaceful and stress free as possible.

The movers themselves were great! Had two separate orders for loading/unloading. We were called the day prior to our move to ask to move everything to one order so we could use the same crew, and being told there were no charges for travel time. After our move we were told then there were charges for travel time, which is why we had two separate orders to begin with, to prevent this. The crew also left for lunch during that time! Typical bait and switch! Definitely would use a different company in the future for any moving needs.
In the future, please be more specific when indicating that you do not wish to pay for travel expenses, we could have simply loaded you and that would have been it. You have not incurred any travel costs, and no additional expenses were incurred on your end. As long as you have settled into your new home and feel safe, that is all that truly matters. Enjoy the rest of the day!

Customers can expect a stellar service from start to finish! From the initial contact til the moment payment has been made. We show up on time, fully equipped and ready to rock!
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
They can expect a courtesy call before the move starts, the crew arrives, takes a look at the home and does a pre check. That means checking around the house to look at the condition of the items so that we are on the same page. Then we bring in the tools and start getting the items ready for transport. In the truck the items get packed safely and securely to ensure a successful move. They can expect smiling and friendly movers because customer service and satisfaction is our top priority!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Everything should be ready for the upcoming move. Dressers should be empty, unless otherwise stated Items should be in a box ready to go TVs and appliances should be unhooked from walls and connectors Have your items being moved and items being discarded to be organized beforehand. Disclose all items of extreme importance and value beforehand
