I was scheduled 1-2 and they arrived at 3:40. I am a single woman leaving an abusive relationship. I told them my priorities were the heaviest items and the furniture upstairs. The main mover told me 30 minutes into the appointment that I needed an extra hour. I had to repeatedly keep them on task and literally beg them to go upstairs and bring that furniture downstairs. He looked at me and said "sweetie, you still have time". I said "there is 20 minutes left and I can't afford another hour. Please." They carried 1 item down and were messing around in the pod again. I called the company. The supervisor called him. Then he confronted me and insinuated that I lied to his boss. I was in tears with his words and tone of voice. Needless to say, they left me in a total mess. Washer and dryer not loaded, heavy furniture still in the house, and a total disaster everywhere. And they damaged multiple antique pieces of furniture. ??????

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.

My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.

My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.
