The crew of 3 did a nice job emptying our 28' trailer.
It was completely full and they husselled from the moment they arrived. Lots had to go in the basement and a few of our larger pieces took some maneuvering, but they did it! We moved into a place with hardwood floors, and they gave me time to wipe the bottom of my pieces and put on felt pads so they wouldn't scratch the floors. They were polite and friendly! TY.

The movers were late but kept me informed as to arrival time. Scheduled for 2 to 3 pm and arrived around 6:45. Worked out fine for me and they did a great job. Very efficient and careful.

We had 2 days reserved with SMF Moving and we prepaid for 4 guys for both days.
Day 1 only 3 guys showed up and weren't very motivated and on Day 2, they were a NO SHOW!
Since this was all prepaid, we are still waiting onj our refund over a week later.

I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. The movers were rude and unprofessional. They finished in under two hours but refused to stay any longer, even though they did not move many of the items they were supposed to.
They spent about 45 minutes trying to move one couch and eventually gave up, saying it could not be moved. The next day, my friend and I moved the same couch in just 10 minutes with no problem. This shows the delay was due to their inefficiency, not the difficulty of the job.
Despite the wasted time and incomplete work, I was still charged. I feel the service was unfair and not worth the money. I would not recommend this company.

Do not use this company! The 2 kids sent to move heavy furniture were not qualified at all! They did not bring any equipment. In fact they asked to use my dolly. They wanted to show up an hour before scheduled. They did not know how to use fastening straps. I had a treadmill which was taken apart and did not weigh more than 300 pounds to move. They could not move it and I had to hire someone else to move it. They only “worked” 1 hour. They marked up and dinged the stairwell wall. Please send qualified individuals to move heavy furniture. Moving day is stressful enough.

The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.

My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.

My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.
