The SMF team did a fantastic job. Unloaded a 16 foot container in about 80 minutes. They treated our belongings and home with respect and were very easy going. I would absolutely use SMF again!.

The first group that was scheduled had car trouble so they were replaced with two other people who called and told me a new timeline to expect. They did show up when they said they would but it was downhill from there. Carlos the main guy told me to go sit down somewhere that this was not his first time and not his first rodeo. Thos was at the start! He was rude the whole time. They stayed on their cell phones quite a bit and just kind of threw my things in the uhaul. At one point when they were scratching my table by scooting chairs across the top, I asked if they had used all the moving blankets to which they said yes. After they left I found the moving blankets hanging in a bag in the uhaul. They didn't utilize space well at all and I had a whole basket of straps for their use but they didn't use any. When you open the door stuff falls out on you.

They showed up 2.5 hours late. They were very nice but they played rock paper scissors to see who would take the items up the stairs. Everytime we said that goes upstairs they were like “geez”. I thought they would bring more than just one dolly. Luckily we had one here and we helped them move our stuff because they weren’t in any rush. They wanted to leave when time expires but still had a lot to do so I paid another hour but if they would have worked like they needed to the first 2 hours we would have finished before 10pm

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.
What types of moves have you handled?
My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.
What training do you provide your crew members?
My crew has been trained in proper lifting techniques and well as furniture preparation,packing and customer service. .
