Chris and Nick arrived on time. Chris talked a good game, telling me how experienced and careful they were, but they really did a poor job of loading the truck. They did not secure any of the items and as a result, a lot of items shifted in transport and several things were damaged. The unloading crew, which I was very happy with, told me the truck was only about 70% full due to their poor packing. Chris told me he had everything out of the basement and left. When I went down there, I found a heavy weight bench still down there that they had been complaining about having to move because it was so heavy. They did not have lifting straps for moving the heavier items, so they tried to move everything using only a hand truck, and dropped several items as a result. I had to carry the weight bench up by myself, along with half a dozen smaller items they had also left. They ran 15 min over their scheduled time, partly because I was nice enough to buy them lunch, and then told me I had to pay them in cash for an extra hour, even though they were only 15 min over. Other hire a helper crews I used charged in half hour increments. The worst part was that they were not done. They could have worked another 15 minutes, but they just left. I would not use them again and would not recommend them to others.
