The first day the crew was on time and worked diligently to get my belongings into my new apartment.
I quickly determined I would need them an additional day and booked them again for the next day. The next morning came and I called the contact for 5 Star to see where they were and found out the crew had been in an accident! The gentleman I talked to quickly found another crew that was in the area and was there within the hour. He sent three guys instead of the two I had requested at no extra charge.
It wasn't his fault his crew was in an accident but he made good on his promise to get me a crew quickly.
I hope the crew that was in the accident are ok.
I would definitely use 5 Star Moving LLC again and recommend them to any one who needs excellent movers at a fair price!

They worked very hard and got the job done in exactly the amount of time booked. Seriously, they never stopped moving the entire time.
I would recommend them.
One negative, I asked them to bring furniture dollies, a hand truck and furniture pads. They did not and moved everything just by hand, which is fine if that's the way they want to do it, I just thought it was too hard on their backs that way. The funiture pads turned out to be either plastic or old sheets, not really funiture pads.

The work order window was 2pm to 3pm. 5Star called at 3:15pm to change the job time to 5pm. I canceled the job. Called at 3:47pm to change the job to 5:30pm. Canceled job again. Called at 5:29pm to change the job to 6:30pm. I had the trailer unloaded and canceled the job once more. Oh well, I needed the exercise.

The movers arrived on time and were able to get all of our really heavy items loaded and unloaded within their 2 hour limit. It was a brutally hot day, but it did not seem to slow them down. They worked very hard and none of our furniture was scratched during the process. We will use their service again.

The guys left about 20 minutes ago and they were AMAZING. Hardworking, quick and highly efficient. They were professional, extremely courteous and punctual. We hired three gentlemen for 2 hours and they got everything from our 16 foot truck into our 8th floor apartment with time to spare. We will be hiring them again in the future (but hopefully not too soon since we just got here :) ) thank you Jerome and 5 Star Moving!!!!!!!!
