Everett, Matt and Daniel were professional, courteous and friendly. The unloading of our PODS container was efficient and done with care. Although they were 15 minutes late, that was to be expected with the traffic in our area. They apologized and made sure they honored the length of time set forth in the Hire a Helper agreement. We would definitely work with them again in the future.

Doesn't get any better! Adjusted last minute to spend double the original time. Loaded a 26 ft truck front to back, top to bottom. Punctual, excellent communication throughout and great customer service.
I truly dislike moving, but watching 2 people work so hard and so well together really made the experience much easier to swallow. Now if I could only get them to come down to SC and unpack!
If I ever move back to the DC Metro area, they will be my first call!

The movers assigned to me did a very good job. They were timely, professional, courteous, and efficient. I was also very impressed with their dedication. Although they had speech and hearing impediments, their communication skills were excellent and their attitude towards life was inspiring. The packing job was a good one and made for a stable ride: my items remained in place throughout. My furniture did sustain some minor damage, but I think this was due more to the cheaper quality of the furniture and the thin moving blankets provided by the truck company than the movers.

These guys were not only efficient but they were very meticulous about arranging our possessions in a safe manner so they wouldnt move during the trip. They lifted alot of heavy heavy boxes and are very strong and capable. Also, my husband and I were very happy with the courtesy we were given by the movers- so polite. We went over our 2 hours but we had alot more stuff than we thought, I would hire them again, absolutely!

The 2 gentlemen that came to help unload my pod were very nice. They arrived on time. I had signed up to 2 hours but it only took the guys 1 hour to unload. They put everthing where I told them to and asked after everything was un loaded if there was anything else. I would strongely recommend them to help in moving. They you Get Up and Go Movers, LLC.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
I am typically on jobs during the day so it is easier for me to text new clients. If I don't hear back then I will give them a call as soon as I am available.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
I'd like to think we are fun and hard working bunch of guys. We enjoy this type of work and you'll notice that our attitude are mostly positive.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure everything is packed and ready to go. Label every boxes and mark anything that is fragile. If there isn't plenty of street parking, reserve adequate space for moving truck or storage containers.
What types of moves have you handled?
We offer residential and commercial, for both local and long distance move.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people and going to new places on a daily basis.
What training do you provide your crew members?
I have about 25 years experience in this industry and I personally train every crew members until I am confident they can go out on jobs without me.
